Ref for Sunday 25/10/15- Utd (A)

The only ones where I'd have a real grievance with Clattenberg in that list are the 2-1 at Chelsea where he didn't give us that foul on Silva at 0-1 and the 3-2 at Anfield with the Skrtel handball. The rest we mainly shot ourselves in the foot or the linesmen fucked up. He's preferable to a fair few of the other twats in the PL list.

Jake Collin made an absolute howler in missing Kyle Walker standing just the three of four yards offside in the build-up to Eric Dier’s equaliser..
 
Even he couldn't have swung the sick swan. We were rampant that day. Need to take it out of the refs hands like Dana White always says in the UFC
 
Don't post on too much but this clown getting the job has really pissed me off! Since the 6-1 he has been nothing but a total joke in any worthwhile game for us and positively generous in games of any note for them. Though he had to wait a full calendar year to ref them again after that match, they won the next 5 he officiated with more than a few dubious decisions along the way. And even through the golden Moyes year they won 3, drew 1 and lost 2, and both of those defeats were almost nothing games when they were already done. With Van Gaal, they lost the first one at Leicester but have won their last 3 with him including the game against us last season. Overall 8 wins, 2 draws and 3 nothing game defeats as Baconface also got 2 wins when the joke was allowed to referee them again.

Whereas our record since the 6-1 with him in charge and also being the most successful team in England during that time is 6 wins, 4 draws and 5 defeats. Out of the seven times he has been in charge when we were playing a top 6 side we have a record of 2 draws and 5 defeats with the draws against Arsenal & Chelsea. We have only beaten West Brom & Swansea away when he has been in 'charge' and the other wins have been at home against Swansea, Watford, Bolton & Leeds in the cup. What I'm saying is if he has anything to play with he's f*cked us over.

Rant over anyway. I hope we don't give him anything to angle towards them and we get a well deserved victory because if its going to be a game of fine margins its a game we won't be winning. Believe me.

Good rant and spot on, one swallow doesn't make a summer
 
Battenburg has improved a lot, ever since all that shit with Chelsea and the racism claims. He is far more consistent these days. Apparently not that well liked in by the FA, but is by other refs, which is a reason to like him a bit more if the suits dont like him. However, the man marking job rughead will do on him on Sunday will be a test of that new found consistency.
 
He makes more mistakes then most for me but he is not corrupt...The best thing is always looks to make the right decision he is not one to shy away or favour the home team! Can't say we won't be complaining about him coming the end of the game but that could also be the case for United fans
 
Don't trust clattenberg feel he's liable to make decisions that put him in the spotlight,he could fcuk over both teams but it's all on the day and who he decides to favour,hopefully it's us as after his last performance at Spurs he owes us some the cnut...

how? a referees job isn't to validate offsides that lies totally on the assistants but to watch the linesman signal' if they put their flag up for offside.

Incase they didn't so clattenburg presumed he was onside (which of course he wasn't) plus clattenburg can't have a clear view and look across the line so he has to rely solely on his assistant.
