Since the Sick Swan our record in away games refereed by Clattenburg against the other Big 6 clubs has been awful. The games have been littered with controversial decisions albeit some at the hands of of the linesmen.
Here is the complete list in these big away games since the 6-1:
L 2-1 Chelsea - Oct 11 2
L 3-2 Liverpool - April 14
D 2-2 Arsenal - Sept 14
D 1-1 Chelsea - Jan 15
L 2-1 Liverpool - Mar 15
L 4-2 United - Aprl 15
L 4-1 Spurs - Sept 15
Clattenburg is great for this fixture
Was the ref for the Sick Swan
Was going to say the same thing. And it was in October. And we was top. And 2 PTS clear.
And we played Spanish opposition in the champions league the game before.
Just saying like. ....history repeats in football.....Sometimes.
Does he?Old clatters,£20 on us to win 6-1
the cheating linesman for spurs was simon beck he has the arsenal vs everton game with mason
Huh - did you watch the Hillsborough anniversary game?
Good rant and spot on, one swallow doesn't make a summerDon't post on too much but this clown getting the job has really pissed me off! Since the 6-1 he has been nothing but a total joke in any worthwhile game for us and positively generous in games of any note for them. Though he had to wait a full calendar year to ref them again after that match, they won the next 5 he officiated with more than a few dubious decisions along the way. And even through the golden Moyes year they won 3, drew 1 and lost 2, and both of those defeats were almost nothing games when they were already done. With Van Gaal, they lost the first one at Leicester but have won their last 3 with him including the game against us last season. Overall 8 wins, 2 draws and 3 nothing game defeats as Baconface also got 2 wins when the joke was allowed to referee them again.
Whereas our record since the 6-1 with him in charge and also being the most successful team in England during that time is 6 wins, 4 draws and 5 defeats. Out of the seven times he has been in charge when we were playing a top 6 side we have a record of 2 draws and 5 defeats with the draws against Arsenal & Chelsea. We have only beaten West Brom & Swansea away when he has been in 'charge' and the other wins have been at home against Swansea, Watford, Bolton & Leeds in the cup. What I'm saying is if he has anything to play with he's f*cked us over.
Rant over anyway. I hope we don't give him anything to angle towards them and we get a well deserved victory because if its going to be a game of fine margins its a game we won't be winning. Believe me.

And missed a blatant penalty whilst we were 1-0 upAye. Wasn't the draw the 2 - 2 at Arsenal, when how he let both of their goals stand.
Blatant fouls on Aguero and Kompany.
Yes, there was even an article written questioning if the game was fixed, though I can't find it despite a few searches!Aye. Wasn't the draw the 2 - 2 at Arsenal, when how he let both of their goals stand.

Don't trust clattenberg feel he's liable to make decisions that put him in the spotlight,he could fcuk over both teams but it's all on the day and who he decides to favour, hopefully it's us as after his last performance at Spurs he owes us some the cnut...
Yeah correct, but ffs even a blind man on a galloping horse could see them offsides he's to blame as much as the linesman....HE didn't do anything wrong vs spurs.
The linesmen were at fault
