Hi mick, yeh got caught up in the gatwick fiasco, 30 hours to get to Seville in the end, but worth it for that performance

Just got back this evening a couple of hours ago - what a fantastic trip, and not ruin by the 90 minutes in the middle either (spanish plod tried their hardest after the game as usual).

Had no issues whatsoever wandering around Seville Tuesday/Wednesday with my City Shirt on - in fact almost entirely positive as most of the local fans seemed to be Betis fans

Seville is a fantastic City - the old town is spectacular - proper boozing and noshing in the sun watching world go by yesterday at more bars than I can count!

Not read back through the thread but did anyone else have to wait for the King of Spain in Malaga at lunchtime today?

Thoroughly enjoyable trip. Managed to get applauded in the hotel foyer, only to see it was for those behind me ....the Seville team! In with the home section and surrounded by fellow blues, brilliant view of the goals in the first half.

So you were sat with the Seville fans? I thought I could see some hands go up when we scored (on the highlights) could not make out if it was Seville fans throwing their hands up in desperation or City fans sat in their end

Yes quite a lot in block p24 which was at side of pitch

Amazing trip, still smiling about it. A massive shout out to Derek from Maine Road FC who sold a spare to me after getting off the train in Madrid!!

When we were eventually let out, two young lads about 10 and 8 came up to me and my friend, the older lad wanted to swap his Sevilla scarf for my friends City one, which he duly did, all this time the younger lad was looking on enviously as he didn't have a scarf to swap, I noticed him looking at mine frequently, so I did the right thing and hung it around his neck and gave him a thumbs-up.

Was a pleasure to see both the lads walking away after thanking us, with beaming smiles and constantly feeling and looking at, the new scarves they now possessed.
Brilliant.

I assume the young lads were on the way to school.

it was a real pleasure to meet you, but betis shit jejejejeje the reason that you meet a lot fans betis sevilla is.. they love to be eclipsed, they have t-shirts of all teams thats plays whit Sevilla,... I hope you visit Sevilla and it's a pity the beaty gave you,
a pleasure

P.D.: I hope to continue contact with you and explain you all of España/Sevilla and its teams if you have some duda, .. howewer, to be poor and to be betis fans is a historic false topic like "barça mes que un club"
