Wow, just wow. I am bookmarking this thread. The flappers and doom and gloomers are pathetic. Euro hangover with key players out also meaning others have been overplayed, team playing to impress new manager and striker injured in first half. Plenty of chnaces created but none taken. Some strange refereeing as per usual. Another day that was a comfortable win. still a point, still top (for now) and into last 16 in Europe. Some so called blues need to grow a pair and grow up.

I would say the chances of pep ancelloti making those subs that the humane one did today are nil, pellegrini could have made the correct decisions today and the result may have been the same we don't know, the fact is he made them, I am bored of his ineptitude costing us, we have a great squad with a very average manager

That was 2 points dropped today .
But I'm not all doom and gloom .
And i predict we will be a better team once Aguero and Silva are back .
 
It's been a difficult period with our two best players missing. Yes we should be beating Villa but the lads are going to have off games like that and for me we did everything but score I'm not too concerned at all.

Slightly frustrating that we let our rivals back in it but that's football.

Still a very happy blue things are amazing at the moment, qualified in the CL and top of the league.
 
Sure that linesman gave offside from Sterling's throw in - on a par with the non-offside v spurs

All in all today was really disappointing for 3 main reasons:

1. Yaya just wasn't playing
2. 'Final ball' wasn't great from a variety of players mostly in the wide areas
3. Villa played well but at times it seemed easy for them to jog/mark us while watching us pass it slowly in front of them.

So not a great day, but it could have been very different, a bit of luck and we could easily have won. Onwards and upwards

I said earlier mate, some just dont have the mental fortitude to be at the top of the league, its the constant pressure of needing results every week that gets to them, these are the types who were much happier when we were shit, no pressure, if we won it was a bonus, it says a lot more about them and the insults they throw than it does those they insult. My sister is a match going rag, I used to always wind her up that she didnt get any pleasure from them winning, just relief that they didnt lose, she sort of agreed with that. Some of the other mouth foamers are JCLs who are only City fans for us to win, so when we dont they cant accept it.

Other than that, there are some lurking rags who stir things up, I have suspicions about a few on this thread.

Yep, our start was the biggest problem. They are so low on confidence. We needed a high energy start same as Seville. Instead we were lethargic and allowed them a nice 10 minutes of keep ball so they gained a confidence and we set the tone for our display.

I imagine the players were a little tired, so it's up to Pellegrini and the players to be honest. Can they offer him the intensity we need at the start?
Yaya can NOT play twice a week. He needs understand this and so does the manager. A poor day at the office for Pellegrini today.
 
I genuinely love every minute of being a City supporter. We have more ups and downs than a roller coaster!!!! I wouldn't have it any other way. Imagine being a supporter of Bayern or Paris St Germain when your team is 10 points clear at this stage every season. How boring. I love our league and all the drama every season. Suck it up and enjoy I say.

There were people in the Matchday thread slagging off every single one of our players and calling the manager a clown before it was even half time. That's embarrassing and raggish as fuck.
