Gate for Hull

Please is it all right if I go to the match tonight? I've got my ticket, my seat on the Eccles SC coach is booked and I've been given permission from the top............. please may I go??

I don't mind the rain and the cold, I've stood on the touchline at too many of my children's games to let that bother me, I've refereed too many kids games in worse conditions so please, please, please may I go tonight?? :-)
 
They're only selling level 1 on the planner and there's loads of green blocks. I reckon there'll be less than 30,000. I'm going though.
 
Anyone who wants to try and get the atmosphere going - there are still plenty of seats in SSL1 available!
 
Well I'm going, but I've got to drop my boss off in Birmingham at 4-30, come back for the game, then go and pick him up again after the match and take him home to Hale (I'm his chauffeur/security, It had better be a good game ffs...?!

Well I am not going tonight (because I live in Dubai) so quite a long round trip but I did do round trips to Liverpool last week, Juventus (home) , West Ham (home) , oh and Chelsea (home first game of the season.) so there is a ( bad) trend and you all maybe thankful I am not going to Hull match! Will be watching it on TV and my next match is next week for Borussia (home in CL) so let's hope a win isn't needed!

There have been a lot of games lately including two home games on the run. Tonight may be cheaper than normal but there is still the additional costs of travel etcetera to add on so no surprise if the attendance dips.
 
Well it was 40-585 for the Palace game and Hull are bringing 5k ?

I think we always undervalue ourselves with these type of games, I'll be honest and stick my neck out here, anything under 40k and I'll be very surprised
 
Just had a quick look at the planner and it looks like a very low gate indeed tonight. Good. Less traffic and can get a beer easier.

I've always quite like those "half empty" games for some reason. There's a certain "intimacy" when you can hear the players shout and that.

You should come and sit near us DD, we can hear the players shout, but that's because the fans won't flaming well sing!! Have you ever noticed I get quite irate about that. I want someone to sing with me................ I'm lonely. :-)

However, I am with you I like that 'intimacy' and I love to see the expressions on a player's face as well.
