Climate Change is here and man made

As I said before, the earth have been warming and cooler than it is now, even over the short period where humans have existed.

Whether we could ever reduce our affect on global temperatures no one knows, we also don't know whether any anthropological warming would be a good or a bad thing globally. Taxing cars in the uk isn't going to solve a worldwide problem as China and India industrialise though.

Plots of time series of globally and regionally averaged time series of temperature anomaly for each dataset can be viewed using a time series browse tool. Several examples of the plots available are shown below.

Figure 5. Globally averaged temperature anomaly time series for the Lower Tropospheric Temperature (TLT). The plot shows the warming ot the troposphere over the last 3 decades which has been attributed to human-caused global warming. (Click on the figure to go to the time series browse tool.)

Figure 6. Globally averaged temperature anomaly time series for the Lower Tropospheric Stratosphere (TLS). The plot shows the cooling of the lower stratosphere over the past 3 decades. This cooling is caused by a combination of ozone depletion and the increase of greenhouse gases. During the most recent decade, the rate of cooling has reduced substantially. (Click on the figure to go to the time series browse tool.)

Might as well have a few more non photoshopped ones

Why are you posting graphs that you know nothing about?

I am right and so is Patrick Moore, cofounder of Green peace. Someone who'd you'd expect to tell the truth about 'man made climate change '.
I like Patrick Moore. I'm not defending man made climate change. The climate will change on it's own. We could do a better job looking after our environment but the climate issue looks after itself. You're not right. Your totally wrong.

I'm sure he's relieved you like him, but if it's all the same I'll listen to him rather than you :0)

oh look, the same graph

Um, well it would be since it's plotting the same RSS satellite data which shows no troposphere warming in over 18 years.

That's beautiful man. Totally appreciate that. My second idol after David Attenborough. What are we even arguing over here? I think we kind of agree.

The wettest/hottest/coldest/driest month/year since records began..Why, when did records begin? erm erm, around a 100 years ago. YCNMIU.

In who's area of jurisdiction is this ice shelf growing? Can't they tax the fucker or something?

you do realise that record ice levels, along side other maximums/minimums regarding rainfall, average temp etc, actually support the theory of climate change>?

Everything is the result of climate change we are told- I take issue wit a lot of it because the climate is a dynamic force that has never stood still anyway and most of these people make forecasts and draw conclusions on such a vast scale that they - you- an I - will be long gone by the time they are proven right or wrong so its easy to say stuff with conviction always knowing you are never going to have to answer for it.
If someone got a country to invest in measures at huge expense based on say a 10 year period I'd have more respect because they would have to answer for their mistake. In 2009 work began on flood defences to prevent another "one in a 1000 year event " flooding of the city. Three years after completion they were found to be inadequate. The answer ? Would have been even worse if they hadn't built them !! Hardly a decent answer for those flooded after the reassurances they have had.
In my view we need to accept things have are and will change and look at how we deal with the effects not try and arrest and even reverse climate change.
And my point btw was that Al Gore's film points to the diminishing ice shelf as an effect of climate change

Agree with all of this.
