Etihad atmosphere

This might be a good way of getting people to sing actually....

'If you don't sing the club are gonna put a big fuckin band in the north stand'!

We should get a Hare Krishna bloke with a small drum too, that worked great after the same Blackburn game outside the town hall.He was dancing along and the Blues all danced behind him singing,''Hare Krishna's blue and white army!'' then he banged the drum. So Fat Les with a drum one end and Hare Krishna the other...i am warming to this idea!

A drum would improve the atmosphere. The problem is, it wouldn't be welcomed by a large amount of our fans.

The atmosphere is improving so we'll see where it goes, if it doesn't improve enough, I'm sure a drum will be considered.
A drum? Nothing personal but fucking fuck off you shagfucker

Haha, I'm on a forum so I expect different opinions, but, 'Shagfucker'? Wow.

If it helps lower my ShagFucker levels, I've actually been involved in meetings with the club and refused to get behind a drum being brought into the stadium. My personal opinion is that it would help co-ordinate more City fans so songs are louder and longer, but I know the amount of grief wouldn't be worth it.

I imagine if the club do plan to go ahead with the drum, they'll put something on City voice about it and pretend the results were unanimously in favor of a drum being brought into the ground.

We need to stop singing about United every week, you hear the ground go quiet and the "singing section" pipes up with "If you hate Man United clap your hands" same with on the concourse before the game. Just forget about them and sing more pro city songs not just songs about the players. We will score and everyone sings the Zaba song when he isnt even on the pitch!

Completely agree, I'm sure the rags aren't constantly banging on about City. And whilst we are on the subject about "banging on", those with the stupid drum idea can stick it.........if it will fit that is.

completely agree with that. I was in the singing section for the hull game. The songs people were joining in with were the pro city ones, as soon as some people started singing its only 6 -1, i just couldn't join in, it had nothing to do with the game and no one was joining in. i dont mind it if we are playing/soon to be playing them.

Have you considered a megaphone at the front of the block ?

Sorry I hope you realise that the words were tongue in cheek (even if the sentiment wasn't) but drums in football grounds are appalling

The club have gone out of their way imo to create a singing section that everyone wanted, and now they have it they don't sing while the game is on, it's all done on the concourse before the game and half time, same happens at away games, waste of time them setting this section up, they should do away with it and charge everyone who moved into it treble for their season cards, for the next five seasons for taking the piss.

Quality....... love it. I'd go further, and increase the season card costs by £50 for every game you didn't attend the previous season. Therefore, if your season card is £600, and you missed 5 games, then next season's will start at £850 before price rises - same for fucking kids.

I reckon we're onto a winner here........oh, and £75 for every cup game you miss if you've enrolled onto the cup scheme! So if you were also one of those fucking stayaways on Tuesday, then the season card would start at £925. Get in......

What about an extra £1 per minute missed? That would soon stop the early leavers!

whatever happened to them lot that were gonna change the 'matchday experience' as we know it forever?they did a dummy run at an EDS game with a 'capo',loudspeaker & a load of them big fuck off flags that they used to have on top of the pops in the early 80's....then disappeared......wtf became of them?
