Etihad atmosphere

Slightly off topic but I can't help thinking that if City attacked the South Stand end in the 2nd half it would help the atmosphere. 95% of matches is the other way round. 115 did their job again yesterday I thought :-)

Got to say that as someone in 302 I don't think the atmosphere this season has improved much with the introduction of a singing section in the South Stand. The early promise seems to have dissipated along with our form.

Is this the thread I can complain about the CITY CITY CITY prompted before the game?

Wasn't the best yesterday - think the weather played a part.

Please tell that guy who does the match build up with that Natalie never to chant city before the match ever again.

Makes us sound like a small, cheesy football club.

Oh my word, the City chanting thing was the worst thing I've ever seen. Who put that together and thought it'd be a good idea?

As for the atmosphere in general I reckon it's improved this year with the third tier and there isn't too much to worry about. There's not many grounds in England that are bouncing and there won't be until regulations change.

Yup no idea why they like attacking a 1/4 empty stand in the 2nd half

Its a shame because at the first game vs Chelsea the atmosphere was decent, a lot of promise with the new stand and that. Now it feels like its quieter than ever and I cant see it improving anytime soon.

I get that they are trying to create an atmosphere by making Mike Mclean and Danny Jackson do what they did but what happened on Saturday should never be repeated. Back to the drawing board.

Didn't go myself yesterday weather was bad so gave my season card to a mate. Watched on tv and have to say there were loads of empty seats, wasn't just at half time and full time as an earlier poster said it was like that throughout the whole game.

Says he, sat at home watching on TV? So, your mate braved the weather but you couldn't be arsed? Then you come on here and comment on the empty seats..

Stuck up in 314 on Saturday it was almost impossible to gauge the stadium atmosphere at all, even if the view is good. However where we usually sit in CB3 you could definitely hear an improvement on atmosphere over last season with the new stand.
