I wouldn't bank on Sanchez starting If this was against say a Bournemouth... But against the best team in the league, yes I'm convinced he will start. We have a few soft fixtures after man city to rotate

There is no way in this world Sanchez would wanna miss this match, Wenger will ask him if he's fit and there will only be one answer.. Agreed big risk but a risk I can see Wenger taking

Anyway I really have to go, if you do beat us I will be back to say well done but if you don't I'm not a gloater, so will stay away.

In which case, I wish all you man city fans a Happy Christmas and happy new year..

And you. I think one of us will be Champions in May 2016

Wenger should learn from what happened at Norwich. Say Sanchez starts and creates a goal, paves the way for an Arsenal win, but his hammy goes and you lose him for 2 months. That's a majorly bad trade.

Kompany is technically fit to play (he is training again) and is as critical to us as Sanchez is to you. But it's very unlikely he will play for exactly the reason above. You don't take roll-the-dice risks on a single match in a long season unless it's truly a title decider (which this is far from) or it's a major cup final.

I think Sanchez will play if he's anywhere near fit enough. It's worth the risk for them, they've been playing well without him, have a few easier fixtures coming up and could probably afford to give him a rest if needs be after our game. Most importantly for them though, if they win on Monday (which i fully expect them to do) it will be huge for their self belief. And for a team that gets laughed at every year for the last decade for falling apart and being out of the title race by about Jan/Feb that's huge for them. They'll be pumped, they'll believe if they win on Monday the title is there's to lose. He'll play if he's able.

Good side Arsenal, and playing better stuff than us at the moment. Going to be a tough one, would love to see us keep a clean sheet and snatch a stuffy winner.

Yep, I said clean sheet, WTF was I thinking? XD

Kompany is training again?

Arsenal next 6....

Southampton (A)
Bournemouth (H)
Newcastle (H)
Liverpool (A)
Stoke (A)
Chelsea (H)

Whilst we play

Sunderland (H)
Leicester (A)
Watford (A)
Everton (H)
Palace (H)
WHU (A)

Even if Arsenal did beat us I'd fancy us to claw the 4 points back after those next 6 games.
so would i,

can believe what they want but we won't even be at the half way point after Monday.......

That's all a bit civilised.

Difficult for me to see how our next six are easier than theirs. Looks pretty even to me. Leicester away is obviously a tough call, and Everton are just coming into form at the moment. For them? Liverpool have been ridiculously overrated by the media (and some on here!), and I now think the expected Chelsea revival just isn't going to happen, not in any major way. Bournemouth, curiously enough, is a potential banana skin — they are now starting to believe — and Stoke away is never particularly easy for anyone, as we (and the Arse) know to our cost. No, really, I think that's much of a muchness as an upcoming set of fixtures for both clubs.
If we have everyone back and fit, I genuinely believe we can actually win all of those. If Vinny, Sergio and Merlin come back and stay back, till May, we will win the league. Everything is on the injuries question. PIsses me off, to be honest…

I'd agree we have an easier run of games but we need some player depth and also have 2 what will be hard fought cup games v Everton as well.

For my money play like we did at the swamp on Monday and get a draw.

We're within touching distance of Wembley in the LC and that should take priority over Norwich.

At this stage I feel we should just put out the strongest side possible for each game, taking in mind the way the opposition play and player condition. Otherwise it breeds complacency.
