On another note, is anyone else looking forward to watching "For the love of myself" on BBC1 tomorrow? This is a documentary featuring David Beckham playing a game in seven continents in seven days.
In defence: the cause of this isn't Goldenshite's obsessive vacuous need to shove his gurning mug in front of every camera, but it was a promo event for Unicef.
Sadly, it's billed and sold as Saint Goldenshite's Saintly Wonderfulness, and therefore gets primetime billing. Rarely has someone been less able to read a script convincingly.

I believe that "The Many Faces of Phil Jones" is in production as we speak.I often think there's not enough United related documentaries on the BBC these days. It feels a bit like we're being a bit short changed on our licence fees with only the features on Rooney, Ferguson, the class of 92, and Beckham this year.

As if there could be such a thing as 'enough' United related content. They do their best to meet an insatiable appetite for rag related programmes, but the demand is just too great.

There's nothing like that drama at City right now. The days of actually considering the footballing merits if both sides and making a prediction are long gone from the British Press unless some mega-bookie has conveniently placed a half page ad underneath the article.
There IS a legitimate contrast in the cost of assembling both sides and it IS to Leicester City's credit that they are in the title race at Christmas. It's fair comment.
I know it's frustrating that all of our advances and latter-day achievements are constantly framed by the money stories but I honestly think you're (wait for it...) being too sensitive on this occasion.
