Respect to Brian Kidd

I find it difficult to understand how anyone can have any ill feeling towards Brian Kidd. I would love to see him stay with the club until he retires from football.

Never been a huge fan of Brian's (notably cos of his days as Fergie's #2) ... but just watched his post matched interview and he is genuinely emotional about City, the fans and the players. I thought he might cry at one point.

And watching the highlights, City looked fluid, balanced and dynamic. (i know highlights never tell the whole story and Readings marking was shocking at times) but thats the best i've seen the lads play. Fast, slick passing, superb movement, Silva looks world class without to worry about Nasri playing around him.

Think a lot of credit should go to Kiddo, I have seen him as the shadow in Mancini's Trio over the last 3 years, but have to hold my hands up, beg for forgiveness and show Brian some respect cos he obviously has a great connection with the players and I think that showed in the game last night.

Whoever comes in .... think the wisest move first is to keep Brian as part of the coaching staff. Wouldn't have said that a week ago or a year ago, but now, think it's sensible in a week of chaos.

Hats off to you Brian. Well done!

I agree .... but you should have come to the game with those who bothered to cheer on the team.

Huge respect for kiddo and cant see the club getting rid of him hopefully new man's no2 or youth academy. kidd chant on sunday lets chant his name!!
