Are the rumours for a January or Summer transfer?

I remember reading something that said Weigl had a higher pass accuracy than Gundogan, while having the same average passing distance as Gundogan (18 metres).
 
This kid is the real deal. Has some serious potential. He has such a cool demeanour and dribbling ability, rarely panics and his final pass is always brilliant, Toure esque. If we get him wed have a definite world class player in 5 years.

Exciting times.
 
Defensive then? Doesn't get many goals. I love how our spending now focuses on youth, rather than 27+.
 
Statistical comparison of Pogba (22) and Weigl (20). It's not organized into categories such as defense, passing, etc because I didn't plan on including so many stats, but then I said what the heck.

Fabulous players, both of them. We can ship out Yaya and Fernando, and replace them with this 2. Ship out Silva for Isco, and Navas for Sane, and Demichelis for Larpote, Zabaleta for Picini (2
Whom I don't like by the way)- And we'll literally have gone from an average age of 28 to 22 in 2 summers.

He's never scored, unless you count German u20's?


Looks like he has a lot of potential, especially as a Defensive mid. Though £19,000,000 for a player(cost less than 2million at the start of the season) who is half-way through his first season in top flight football is a bit steep.
 
Hasn't scored yet, but if you compare him to Pogba, statistically, Weigl look as good, and in some areas Weigl is clearly superior by some margin.
 
Exciting. Didn't think we'd see any transfer business until the summer but god knows we need a new midfielder.

Conspicuously quiet. You'd expect denials or a "no chance" thing from Dortmund, or something from the agent etc.

But just radio silence. It wasn't even picked up in the English papers or gossip sections.

Judging by what I've seen on YouTube he seems to be more of a holding midfielder kind of like busquets, those stats seem to show it too

A midfield 3 of him pogba and KDB won't be too bad and sterling aguero neymar front three and (left back) laporte vinnie (real betis right back)
I'll grab my coat
