It is going to be close if we show the fight we did tonight . Yes it wasn't pretty but who cares ? Show that fight against Leicester and we will win.
It won't be as simple as that with Joe because he is English and we have a quota to fill. And also he is one of the best in the world.Of course I'd do, I never said I didn't.
He'll work on it with Joe and if he can't adapt he'll be out, simple as that.
We looked knackered having played two games in the last six days.
They looked fresh having played none.
Great result in the circumstances.
I shuddered a few times at the tackles that the Sunderland players were dishing out - how many injuries have we picked up from that battle?Agreed. Proud of every one of em tonight.
Weren't intimidated by 'fat sam's' usual (deliberate) bully boy tactics, but gave as good as we got, and eventually came out of the 'battle' victorious.
I'm sorry if that isn't good enough for some 'City fans' on here, but it's very difficult to play football, on the ground, when you're perpetually being launched about 5 feet into the air, for the entire 95 minutes. by vertue of your opponent's boots or elbows.
It was always going to get physical with Allardyce sensing City would be tired. he'll have sent them out with instructions to be very physically competitive but we didn't play well. We should have been better in possession regardless of what Sunderland didProud of every one of em tonight.

Not great but job done. Yaya very poor again. Really big game on Saturday now
Stuart Brennan seems to have become a one man Yaya fan group of late, not really sure why.Yay a got top marks in MEN player ratings
Delph was injuredWhy on earth did we start with just Yaya and Fernandinho as the only two central midfielders? The three we put out on Saturday would have been perfect for tonight.
Delete it for our attacking .. Watch for our defending.I've only just got in and have match choice recorded. Having read the first three and last few pages of this thread should I just delete it or it it worth a watch?
Oh right. But why not the two Ferns & Toure? That's how we started the second half so why didn't we do it for the first half.Delph was injured
