I'm not Pep but I think we will spend upwards of 300 million this summer.

Honestly don't think we need to....still fighting on four fronts.Champs league a long shot but who's to say we couldn't do a domestic treble depending on team selection against Chelsea.
Long term we need to bring the average age of squad down ie pogba for yaya.....younger full backs.....denayer for MDM.....but 300m???? We don't need to spend that kind of money anymore.

Pogba to replace yaya would be a main priority surely.
Think he'll replace bony too.
Apart from that I reckon he'll go with what he's got for at least a year and maybe promote some youth into the capital one and fa cup games.
So for me pogba and cavani to replace yaya and bony.

This squad cycle is over mate and there will be at least 5 new players in this summer imo

i agree a few players will be of zabba Sagna yaya Demi and a few more are no Spring chickens and I think it's time to lower the average age like someone has mentioned football is about cycles and a few of them players have had great careers with us and I can see yaya , kolorov , clichy , demi , maybe zabba all being sold with a new core of players coming in. Maybe a left back a right back a replacement for yaya and maybe another couple of midfielders coming in.

Neither will rock up here. Isco is highly unlikely. The rest have a great probability of being here next season. Add Sane to that too.

If you would know how to read you know that I never said that - I just doubted it at that moment as he looked very confident in the surrounding at Bayern and for me the signs at that time looked different. There were times in the last moments in which it looked a lot like that Pep would leave - and others.

Oh - but Pep had a running out contract, didn't he? Alaba does not. So Bayern would have to sell him - it would not just be up to the player. That is a big difference.

You can keep on daydreaming here about Alaba or Thiago - but it is just daydreaming and nothing of substance. I cannot tell that Alaba will never leave - but I know that Alaba will not leave in 2016. If he does not make a new contract it could be that Bayern sells 2017 a year before his contract runs out like they e.g. did with Kroos. But Kroos had a totally different standing in the club than Alaba has it.

True, there is a touch of reaction but half our midfield and half our defence isn't good enough regardless of who the manager is. Delph, Fernando, yaya, mangala, Kolarov, Clichy, demichelis. That's seven players.

And how do you know that? You've only ever seen them under one manager. A manager who cares very little for protecting the defence.

Because they're not very good or too old. I have eyes. I can see Fernando, Delph and mangala aren't technically gifted. Imagine them playing rondo, it'd be like kerplunk. The others are past it.

I imagine well keep gpdelph, mangala and Fernando for the squad but we need 2 new cm, a lb and CB. Probably right back too.

He's got some serious end of season sale on his hands. I can only think he was under the impression we were in much better shape than this when he signed up. Christ he must be having second thoughts, I know I would. At least half the squad aren't up for it and they know it too. MP is frightened to change what he sees as a winning formula and can't see that the players who have no future under Pep are shrinking violets.
