I think it's a general City attitude problem. We know we're good, but we almost expect every team to adapt to us, and we just carry on playing like we always do. It's a tad disrespectful and we come unstuck far too often doing so.
Most top teams have a bad day at the office, and in isolation, you might be forgiven for thinking this was such an occasion. Sadly, it's no such thing - this is a fairly consistent pattern in much the same way as Arsenal continue to fail to strengthen. Time and again we make similar mistakes. Overrun midfield, pitting Yaya against a high energy and damn fast opposition. It's asking for trouble.

There are some mitigating circumstances, such as injuries and heavy fixture schedule, but it's clutching at straws as a defence for today's performance (and others like it).

I fear for us against Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal, and I dare say Chelsea could be problematic too. Why? because we already know that they will up their game against us, and their workrate will be phenomenal (running on adrenalin). I can't remember the last time I saw us truly put in a phenomenal amount of effort.

You could substitute the word we for Pellegrini and it would be just as true.

Unfortunately Spurs and Liverpool are the next two league games. If we show no response to this then we need to be looking behind us rather than above. With the injuries we have I can't see us winning either despite how shit Liverpool are currently.

Think we will get ruined by Spurs next week, would love to see Angelino playing left mid with Kelechi and Kun up top.

Anyone else notice how most of Leicester's goal kicks went out? Looked to me like a tactical move. Hoof it up to a marked Vardy and give away possession or kick it out, give City a throw in and hassle them out of it everytime. Now thats a manager who thinks about a game and uses the oppositions weaknesses.

I won't be clapping him on our final home game, he deserves fuck all for the shambolic past two seasons. All this crap about dignity in the way he's held himself since last Monday.

How about some fucking dignity on the pitch Manuel?

A fucking shambles.

Spot on!!!! I hope Pep gives the tealady what for

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! I have tried calming down but I am still fuming!! I want the new City back, not these fucking pre 2008 imposters conceding soft goals and being out fought and out thought!!

Lol. I'm in 308 and that part isn't saying anything like that. Come and see for yourself the next game and we can discuss how shit a fan I am X
Come to my block and discuss how shit I am 118.
Let's hope he has a stormer next week and wins us the game. I will gladly hold my hands up in 308. Ha Ha

At least it will get rid of some of the cling on glory boys and may temper any SC price rises.

Let's hope pep doesn't have a clause saying if we don't make clamps leaugue then he doesn't come. Because let's be honest on current state we won't be finishing top 4!

Did you post he was a clown when he won the double.

Yep I never wanted him. He won that double on the back of Mancini's team. Just remind me again how much he has spent compared with Mancini no I thought not. Fraud of a manager absolutely tactically naive and way out of his depth.

Well, long time member, few posts, but I am entitled my say..... It costs me roughly £150 to see City play at home. We discussed on the train on the way up how LCFC could beat us
and it happened as we discussed, which to me is inexcusable. If the layman in the street can see what might happen then why cant City's management?? and people ask why are we replacing MP?
Have a look at today terrible display. I left early today, my choice, and why shouldn't I ??

Will do - pm me your seat.
In all seriousness you're being extremely harsh, he's been hit and miss all season but overall his positives outweigh his negatives.
He's going to be a superstar for us in the next couple of years.

Whilst we have got the filth that is Fernandinho, Fernando, Toure (thanks for the memories) and Delph representing our club we are going to be swirling in an apathetic pit of shit. None of them would command a place in midfield of the top 12 PL clubs so how the fuck do we end up with that 4? Fernandinho for their second and Delph in the lead up to their first want absolutely fucking because it is game after game.

Quite simply Demichelis has become a total liability. For £3m, he was a bargain back up and for the last few seasons, has been very useful at times. Today, he was single handily at fault for both Huth goals and also for the Marez goal and his positioning all game would have had Stevie Wonder putting in for the job! I know we don't have much choice at the moment with Mangala and Vinnie out, but with DM experience with City and Bayern, he should know better.

I simply have no loyalty to any of the players anymore, they can all go, I would like to see what Pep does with Kun, Komps, Merlin, KDB, Fernandinho, Nacho and some of the kids, I've seen enough of the rest all very average. Good players hold their heads up despite managers and he is really crap.

The moment I knew the game was over was watching both sets of players come out for the second half. One set of players ambled out of the tunnel at a snails pace looking like a team of disinterested individuals that had been thrown together. The other team all ran out on to the pitch looking totally up for it, geeing each other up and ready to go from the whistle

No prizes for guessing which team was which
Exactly that's what kills us fans isn't it. Half that team waiting to leave at the end of the season mercenary cunts.

Like Wimbledon in their prime. But to be fair they break very well
