is there still time to get our Chinese partners to buy Yaya for £70m and we can put the money in the kitty for Pogba in the summer?

Why aren't we playing like Leicester two upfront like we did in Pellegrini's first season?? Should've bought a class striker like Aubameyang to play alongside Serge/ replace him when he's out injured. It's a rarity we blow teams away these days we fumble to get 3 points each week and our defense is nothing short of an embarrassment for supposed "title contenders". Pellegrinis track record v the top 6 sides is shocking also...bollocks will he be managing another top PL side after July 1st.

Today wasn't a shock that's the biggest disapointment.

What a load of absolute bullshit I'm reading.....are people expecting us to win every fucking game?
We got beat by the better team today....end of story....believe it or not we are not invincible.
Looking at the positives today I've realised toure is no longer good enough unfortunately, but fuck me,if we beat spurs next week (will be favourites) and arsenal beat Leicester (favourites) then it's a four horse race!!!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!

Happy clapper alert I repeat happy clapper alert

Liverpool will play with fight and hunger and do the same to us in the final. Liverpool were actually the better team recently against Leicster and were pretty unlucky, also outplayed them at anfield yet we get made to look like mugs by both teams.

Weird to start Kolarov and benching our best defender Sagna. Doesn't get the Fernando sub either. He's awful in a midfield two and especially in attack. Celina did a good cameo though, the only positive from today.

Anyone with a bit of football sense would have had both Sagna and Clichy as the full backs today knowing how Leicester have pace on the break.

Yaya surely should have sat this one out also

Fair play to Leicester though they were worthy winners even though they did have the rub of the green.

I still think we will get top four, performances haven't been great but we will do more then enough to finish in the top four.

Unless the mother of all riot acts is read to all the playing staff then we won't be in the top 4. Today is what happens when you're only plan is "Get Pep!". We have wasted a small fortune on players in the interim period waiting for Pep. We jettisoned a good manager in Mancini, because if we had backed him he would have won trophies and been very difficult to replace without looking dubious. We allowed player power to rise and now they know it will end with Pep's arrival. No real blooding, not even an attempt to bring any of the youth team into plug the physical gap when player's have slowed, or simply got knackered. Today should really spark an emergency meeting, it was that bad.

I think we have far too many players who are not cut out for the direction we are moving in.

We are caught in the middle of a new regime taking place which will play a faster based game and the old system which was used to strolling around and keeping the ball. Our summer signings, IMO, are all players who have been brought in to play in our new system but are being forced to play the old way. Sterling, KDB and Otamendi have nowhere near started to reach their potential with us.

I think its safe to say that out of the spine which has served us well for the last 5 seasons in Yaya, Kun, Silva, Kompany and Zaba, only Kun is guaranteed to have a role with us next season. Yaya's legs have gone, Silva needs to stop slowing everything down and adapt his game and Kompany and Zab need to prove their fitness.

Agree with that, though it's not going to be easy making such a transition in one season.
