I think it's a mixture of the two. I'm sick and tired of seeing Demichelis smirking when we've either conceded a goal or have got away with one. I'm bored of Silva looking frustrated with everything around him when him losing the ball is the problem. Yaya Toure could do with one of our own players explaining to him that he offers next to fuck all at the moment. Kolarov never seems to care that there is nobody in the area that he smashes the ball across the pitch to when he gets in a decent forward position. Raheem Sterling needs to try to get past a defender instead of running into them.I don't believe we lack preparation. For me it's down to the players. They lack any responsibility and shirk their jobs.
Loads have said on here that Pellegrini's tactics are to send the same team out week in and week out then hope that Yaya, Silva, Sterling or Aguero do something magic. The country seem to be in some sort of moral mourning over the harshly treated Chilean at the moment but if they actually watched our matches, they'd realise that we haven't played well domestically for a very long time.
