Now that would be a good idea the Independent is going cheap
Shouldn't let it get you like that. Don't let the bastards win!!!!!! All we can do is support our club and owners and stick 2 fingers up to them all.Me too.
That game stunk. And if the rags are given 4th to our detriment because of decisions like this I'm out.
I just thought guy it was a poor decision, I didn't think it was in the realms of being corrupt though.
Investigations into referees before when they have been accused of being corrupt, it is not the big decisions like penalties that they do as it is too obvious, it is the niggly fouls in the middle as it allows one team to retain more control of the football match.
That one yesterday, his interpretation was that Sterling jumped with his arm in an unnatural position. I disagree with him, but no way is it a sign of corruptness.
There are dodgy decisions and then there is either totally incompetent or bent decisions. The Everton call was dodgy and it went in our favour but it was almost impossible even with video evidence to be 100% sure and certainly not at game speed. However, we have suffered from 2 of the worst decisions in recent years against Spuds this season. The offside not given just before half time and then this disgrace and that is the only way of describing it. This should not and indeed must not be forgotten about. I know there is little of practical significance we can do about it but perhaps we could start a push to have serious penalties for refs who make such bad decisions which are totally irrational. Is this guy bent? No. He is far too stupid to be involved in any monkey business. He just doesn't like us end of. Elleray didn't like the rags and Keane, it happens. Am sure we'll get another dodgy decision a la sterling v everton. It'll even itself out.
The unbelievable rise of Leicester City

Haha. Biggest pile of crap I've ever read - outdoes even some of the more outlandish 9/11 ones

Maybe you could disprove the stats in the article ?

I think he guessed. He's seen Stirling turn his back, he's seen the ball bounce off him, and he's seen the Spurs player asking for it, so he gave the penalty. It's just a mistake, and I'm sure we'll get our fair share in the remainder of the season, probably a very dodgy penalty v Liverpool in the CC final.........Has anybody seen a still frame of where Clattentwat was standing at the time?
It seemed to me as he could not have possibly seen the ball strike Raheem's left elbow from where he was stood.
