Mark Clattenburg

But lets say a pass is played from 30-40 yards away, even if the lino is level with the last man how can he possibly be looking to see when the ball precisely leaves the passers foot and at the same time judge the precise time an attacker makes a clever run to beat the trap? It's physically impossible because players can be a cm onside or offside in a fraction of a second.

The rest of your post I agree with, and this was my point way back, all us football fans have threads like these. I thought what Vardy did at Arsenal yesterday should have got him booked as he clearly hung his left leg into Monreal to buy the pen, but then Drinkwater should have been sent off for a studs up lunge. Poor decisions that went both ways.

The deliberate handball thing is misleading because, as I understand it, it doesn't mean a player has to make a deliberate attempt to play the ball with his hand, it means he has to make a deliberate motion with his hands that interferes with the ball. I think Sterling jumps and flaps his elbow out and I do think the ball hits it. My take. I don't know if the lino had a side on view and whispered in Clattenbergs ear, but I agree if Clattenberg doesn't see it properly, and the lino doesn't then shouldn't be giving it. But we've all been on the end of these and I think the commentators said yesterday that City hadn't had a pen given against them for 13 months so you guys aren't doing too bad in that respect.

How could the lino have a side on view as the one on that side was on the other half of the pitch (giving Aguero offside every time he got beyond the Spurs defence whether he was or not)

Are you still here. Been reading your posts all afternoon and to be honest you have been getting on my tits to say the least. Do us all a favour and save the Mods a task

Oh just go away, we always get these 'odd' fans like you who try and claim black is white. But you are a manifestation of what is wrong with some of the rules of the game today. The problem is that the rules now include ridiculous statements like 'if your arm is in an unnatural position' which people like you use to justify ridiculous decisions like the one on Sunday. In my day it used to be simple. If a player handballed the ball 'deliberately' then it's handball. Anything else and its not. Anyone watching that on Sunday could not argue that Sterling deliberately went to stop the ball with his arm or hand. Why would he have done? He jumped and turned his back to try and stop the cross. Never in a million years did he deliberately move to stop the ball with his hand or arm. It's as clear as day that the ball hits his back first. Even if it did brush his arm (which it didnt) no one in their right mind, other than a person with an Agenda, would have called that as a handball. It was a ridiculous, disgraceful decision given by a ref who didn't even see it.

As for offsides, you're arguing effectively that no liinesman can ever give an offside as they cant see both the line and the time of a kick, in which case you are arguing the whole purpose of a linesman is defunct, other than for giving throw ins!! Are you for real. It's proven that most linesmen are pretty effective at giving offsides on the whole, except it seems for when we play spurs when they seem totally incapable for some reason.

Now go back to your spurs site as your efforts to try and justify the unjustifiable in some way to make you feel better about your faux results against us given to you in the main by referees and linesman. True I wouldn't be complaining were it the other way around but it wasn't and I and most other blues are rightly royally p*ss ed off.

Haha Spurs fans claiming they were screwed over by the ref in a game where we clearly smashed them. They were fortunate we did not score 7 or 8, that night.

Rose's tackle was a clear foul. The Dawson incident wasn't, admittedly, crystal clear to the naked eye, so I can understand differences of opinion. It was a marginal decision. The decisions we have had given given against us this year when we have played Spurs have not been marginal decisions.

Nothing surprises me about the 'logic' of Spurs fans. I read on one blog that Spurs deserved the penalty at the weekend because Clattenburg did not award the Mendes 'goal' against United. They truly are a special breed. They are terrible losers, and even worse when they win. They are universally hated for good reason.

had talksport on this afternoon and the 2 blokes on the show said Mark Clattenburg got a agent its a well known agent with a lot of footballers on his books
1 now am puzzled to think why a premier league ref needs a top agent 2 why is a players agent working with a ref

something stinks or am I just thinking all of them have and its not news to anybody but me. the talksport guys quickly moved on to a top ref they just phoned a the past ref called cooper or something like that and he was so far up Mark Clattenburg arss it was shocking he even used the worlds best ref ?????????????
