Bit disappointed with Barker, expected a lot from him this season.

He was the kid I was most excited to see and ended up being the one I was most disappointed with. His body language was awful. Looked like he was in a right moody and couldn't be arsed.

The kids were let down by senior pros who looked like they'd decided we'd lost before the game. There were a few of those kids I wouldn't mind seeing more game time towards the end of the season.

At least the scousers have to play on the Thursday and have to play a strong side. It evens it out a bit.

For me they should fly back to London, get themselves to whichever hotel they are staying at and spend the two days before the final just working on Liverpool's weaknesses, of which there are many. I doubt they will though or that much thought at all will be given to Liverpool's play.

I don't think we need to be flaming anyone making debuts today, it's not fair or helpful. I think they all deserve credit, some may have found it difficult but you need to be understanding and abit more supportive of the young ones

Thing for me is our targets/aims at the beginning of the season is to WIN every trophy possible (i presume). So how can the manager spit his dummy out at fixture congestion?

Fabregas said after the game that they played Newcastle on Sunday then played in Paris 3 days later. Yes Kiev is a lot further but it's not exactly as if the players are flying cattle class like when we go on holiday.

Mis management of the squad throughout the season has cost us today.

There is a big difference London to Paris, Manchester to Ukraine.
There is also a small matter of a League Cup final which Chelsea don't have.
We're injury ravaged and the depth of our squad is shit.

I guess it depends how long they want them away from home, it could be argued that it would be best to go straight to Kiev from London too, then stay in London after Kiev, then maybe the night after the cup final, and then we have Liverpool away in the PL, do we just go straight there from London too ?

Its a nightmare set of games, and we started it with 13 fit outfield players, 4 of which have played today.

I think the club were bang on today, we didn't show disrespect to the cup the FA and BBC did they can stick their FA cup right up their arse as far as im concerned, we've been on the end of bullshit decisions all season, even if we did put a full strength whats the odds the ref wouldnt have give some bullshit penalty or dodgy decision like actually happened in tonights game, the players would have been fucked by the time we play the dippers on sunday. I for one enjoyed watching the youngsters give it a good go, and if it wasnt for the early second have goal who knows how it would have gone. Chin up blues we got to see some good youth prospects today and we fucked off BBC win win for me.

Agreed mate I think some of us are expecting far to much from this squad especially considering the injuries, it would be hard enough to compete in all the comps without the injuries so fuck it lets move on and enjoy the rest of the season, anyone would think we are battling relegation.
