Well I am anyway.....looking at the fixtures our next 5 games are 'favourable'.
Come Saturday after the villa match our situation is going to look much better with spurs playing arsenal. We give them a good hiding hence putting pressure on Leicester (late kick off).
I predict we win the league by beating arsenal at home.
Views are all my own :-)

As much as last night was a debacle, we only dropped a point. If we'd drawn and the others had done as expected, we'd be further behind.

Strange season, strange.

I had the Liverpool game down as a loss anyway so nothings changed. He probably should have played the kids in the game as we have bigger games coming up that we need to be fresh for.

its not over till the fat fucker sings, fight to the end and all that bollocks, lets hope the players stay focused, we just need a good run and lets see where we finish.

It wasn't that bad a result in the grand scheme of things. We lost 1 point on Leicester, which isn't the end of the world considering they had an easy game (on paper). Arsenal also threw away points in an 'easy game', Spurs dropped points to a good West Ham team, but they also have really tough games coming up, I reckon we'll be above them by mid April. We just need to up our consistency, if we beat Villa and Norwich it's game on! Lose in either and then surely it's over.

Admire the optimism, but I just can't hold the same view.
Yeah, it is 1 loss, but it's more than that - it's the way we played, in a pivotal game, once again. If it was an unfortunate defeat, fine, but it was yet another spanking - and we have had too many of those this season.
Our record in 'big' games, as you know, is dire. Against the current top 8 we have 3 points out of a possible 33, and that includes Southampton. With this in mind, there is no way you can be truly confident about Arsenal at home, United, or Chelsea away.

Top 4 is a genuine concern now, and it would be arrogant to suggest otherwise. Our performances in the league this season have been largely pretty poor, barring the first 5 games. Let's hope we get a reaction now, and go on a good run, but we have shown nothing in the league to suggest we will.

Yep we were crap last night but history shows we won't get fuck all at Liverpool. 11 games to go win 8 we win the league.

I still think we can do it in spite of the manager.

Mainly down to the fact that the other teams aren't very good either & will get very nervous.

We have a much better chance of winning it now, than we did when we lost to Brenton's team at Anfield. They were already on the bus celebrating.

We're still on for the treble in my view, I'm a glass half full type:-)
