You disagree with me. Great. I think I'm right and there are plenty of former pros that agree with me. There'd 10x as many fouls of each instance such as that was given as a foul. He wasn't impeded. He felt contact and dived and the lino guessed.

For me it was akin to a tap tackle in rugby - just a tap on the boot enough to bring 18 stones down.

I know one on another forum that thought Aguero wasnt a penalty, but Benteke was pretty clear. But he's a bit like that.

But the difference in contact, even if you say it wasn't huge, was still more than enough for Aguero to tumble over. Cutting inside like he did and a trailing leg purposely being left out is a penalty whatever yardstick you use.
Yesterday was the most minimal of contact at a completely different angle which has led to people questioning if he could stay on his feet.
There's absolutely no comparison for me.

Was fairly similar (in terms of weight of touch) as the Aguero title winning goal against QPR. And thank god Sergio didn't go down like he'd been shot. Benteke could of stayed up if he had wanted too, but thought a penalty was a better bet than reaching the ball to cross it. Cheating for me but until the FA grow a back bone and do something about it, will continue

What's done my head in about this penalty is the pundits,most claiming its nailed on,they have had time to analyse it over and over again,and go on about the slightest touch on Benteke,ok fair enough.
We've seen countless pens this season(not just for City) where players have been hacked down,and again they have had time to analyse it over and over again,but come to the conclusion of no pen.....I understand the officials will fuck up in real time,but these so called pundits?
