I suspect, considering the closeness of the relationship between them, that if this guy comes in, it'll be with Txiki's blessing as a kind of right hand man. Perhaps Txiki will, in addition to a high-level role at MCFC, have additional responsibilities within the CFG, leaving Pep's guy to handle the detail of MCFC transfers.

Agree, getting the bloke in from Bayern though would be a huge coup, they've done magnificently in terms of recruitment in recent years.
