United Post Match Thread

Sorry, assume you're quite happy with limping into 5th place, and losing to the worst United side in living memory? Must be great living in your world. Tosser.
Am happy with a trophy, we're in 4th and trying to hang on to it and got pep coming in....fuckin deliriously happy my friend.....come to mine and have a line. My world is fuckin fannytastic flower.

Doesn't anyone else think we play with no anticipation? We don't need to touch the ball 100 times per move like a bunch of ocd footballers. I'd like to have a stopwatch to work out how long City v other teams take to get the ball into the 18 yard box...from the goalie. That's what really gets on my wick regardless of players, manager, systems. That and going in every direction but the opposition goals.

just gotta hope we scrape into CL one way or the other and render today's piss poor effort an irrelevance

wholesale change called for this summer and thank christ pellers is going

I think we play with no tactics

He's no faith in our youngsters..could have played the young center half who played against Chelsea..disgrace.
You mean Tosin...

Agreed..he's a local (Chorlton) lad, too so might have modified the BBC wankfest over Scum's Wythenshawe lad.. Good player though he undoubtedly is
Plus even I might've done better than MDM today, lol

Well what a disgrace that was. To come out in possibly the biggest game of the season and perform like that is unforgivable. No passion from anybody. Sick of constantly conceding first in every big game. As soon as the goal went in, you just knew we weren't winning the game. I can't ever see us coming from behind to win anymore under this idiot. Yet under Mancini, I honestly thought we could win every game we played in. Seriously can't see us beating Chelsea, Southampton, Arsenal or Swansea.

Once again, the team selection was wrong. Everybody in that ground knows Toure can't play in a midfield 2. The amount of times first half they just bypassed our midfield was ridiculous. Demichelis should be nowhere near that team. Nowhere near it. It's bad enough he started, but to come back out for the 2nd half should be a criminal offence! Everyone could see he was having an absolute mare - I assume even MP did seeing as Zaba warmed up all of HT - and to see him come back out, you just knew what was gonna happen. He then sells Hart down the river by messing up a simple 5 yard pass and strolls away like he did nothing wrong.

The sooner this season ends and Pellegrini sods off the better. Never has a plan B. In saying that, what's plan A!? We get anywhere near the final third and we just pass sideways and look for the eye of a needle pass. Pep has one hell of a job turning this around. Out of that squad, I would possibly only keep 4/5 players.

We're going backwards. Very quickly.

Last 12 games in the league we have conceded first in 6 of them and in the other six, three of them we also failed to score and they ended 0-0.

We have won 4 of our last 12 games. Shocking.

Derbies are a great indicator of a managers ability to motivate his players for me, if you cant get them up for a Manchester fucking derby, what game can you get them up for? Last 4 (especially the last 3) have been shocking from a City standpoint...slow, ponderous shite for the most part.

At one point in the not too distant past, we had our foot on the rags throat and instead of pushing down as hard as we could and making them truly irrelevant, we have allowed a truly terrible team to beat us 2 out of the last 3 times. Why? Because our manager couldnt motivate a pissup in a brewery. Get rid ffs.

Completely with you. Name one team that is able to cope losing a Kompany/Otamendi/Sterling/Hart DURING two back to back games. It's Pellegrini's fault whatever way you look at it. Because he was left with zilt options when injuries crept in. Again.
What fuckin ever ...

thats exactly what we need some local lads that give a shit about us and show some passion. we have loads of talented youngsters they just aren't being given any chances

Utd brought quite a noisy following today, you could see how much it meant to them at the end, I thought they had won a cup I was in Block 110 and could see the relief on their faces, I saw it compliment. It was a huge scalp for them to beat mighty City. We move on now! Bigger and better things to come.

It's called desire mate.
It's called hunger. It's called motivation. It's called the will to win.

They had more of all of the above in a derby at the Etihad than we did.
That's is unforgivable. Just how far have we fallen since Mancini made us invincible against the rag vermin?
Cup final or no cup final they wanted it more than we did and that is unforgivable.

Yep- watch spuds and Leicester - no coincidence that they are the two teams scrapping it out for the title- fast , accurate , instinctive passing- knowing just where a team-mate will be, no need to look up and take two or three touches, and most of all- trust and confidence in their team-mates and system.

I can't accept that particular criticism. I saw the players close up.& they were fighting for the ball & wining it, winning headers, pushing forward, & looked fucking gutted to lose.

They also looked gutted when Utd scored, really gutted, imo because they know that the manager is a fucking con man & that we were set up wrong tactically & with selection.

I sometimes wonder whether a season out of the champions league might give food for thought for some of our more recent supporters. We're all cheesed off but some of the shit on here tonight is beyond laughable. Sleep it off fellas.....

How do you explain our record against the top 6? Or failing to beat Norwich and Villa away?

You do realise hart got injured because the dick head in charge decided to play a useless prick no better than my grandma?
