I say we vote in, see plenty of things we'd lose(some of the services we rely on in all sorts of areas like social care rely themselves on EU funding which pretty much means we lose them all together given that even the NHS is struggling), along with cost increases such as fuel prices... in short some pretty huge impacts to be felt if we do leave.

What do we really gain from leaving or better put in what ways would we REALLY benefit from it? None of the this blind speculation and oh we are fine on our own talk... seriously do people really make decisions this way on votes?

The EU is one thing but I hope people are sarcastically championing a European superstate? That's one step closer to the global state people have been warning of for years, the common man stands no chance when things turn bad in that scenario.

That is interesting. Do the French give a reason they want to leave the EU? Is it just down to out of control migration?
It's hard enough for us to secure our borders and we have a f*cking moat around us which the French don't have so I don't know how they envisage a secure France after a Frexit.
They also get a disproportionate level of agricultural subsidies so the reason for them wanting to leave cannot be financial. It would be mad for them to turn their backs on subsidies.

This sounds a lot classier than a Brexit. Wonder if we could have Swexit, or a Nexit? A Spexit, or a Polexit? Let's all fuck off, leave Luxembourg as the single member of a highly politically unified group, and the rest of us can dust off what the Common Market began as!

So the EU takes our money, gives us roughly half of it back, pockets the rest, and this is a good reason to stay in?

The EU do not fund ANYTHING, they give us part of our own money back while keeping a huge chunk to fund the gravy train, so getting out means more money to fund these things.

They are a parasite that takes a cut of every sale & purchase, so losing this self imposed middle man and the mountain of red tape being the only thing they bring to the table will lead to cost decreases.

Well I have a family member who actually works in an EU funded sector and they tell me otherwise... I may have misheard them but if not I'd be taking their word over yours on how that works. From what I hear the whole department are fearing for their jobs seems pretty unlikely they'd be doing that if what you say is true, it might be that our gov would piss away the money elsewhere as they always seem to do.

I really don't know it seems with the costs of fuel and goods that In and Out now giving the same arguments as plus for their side of the arguement... time will tell on who was talking shit if we vote out and things turn to shit or not I suppose.

Do you honestly believe prices or taxes would go down by any significant amount from where they are even if they were in a position to do it?

We can fund everything that's currently EU funded and still be 9 billion quid better off every year. In fact, it's got to be more efficient and make more sense to fund these things directly than to send the money to Brussels and have an unelected bureaucrat decide where to sepnd our money. Those on the In side struggling to think of anything better to spend 9 billion quid a year on?

Apologies if this is being done already and I've missed it. Is there any chance we could have update each week on the movement of the Board regarding this issue? I think the 'out' camp have been winning since very early on, but has the gap mainly stayed as it is, or has it grown?

Circular reasoning works because circular reasoning works because....

How is that circular reasoning?(I think you have the definition mixed up) This person knows more about that particular situation than any of you so I'd take their word on it, simple as that they are all dead against voting out.

It's a complete fallacy to give the argument we give X amount of money and get "completely nothing in return"(is that likely? I think not somehow I just got something through the door detailing all the perks of being in the EU but it's all lies?) anyone attempting such an argument has to seriously self assess before wanting to be taken seriously. What I'm saying is whatever they do take it wont be a case of "ohhh we have just freed up X amount to spend on whatever we like" that's just naive, there are benefits for being in the EU which once lost will have knock on effects such as the cost of fuel and so on.

Someone who is in an EU funded position tells you we benefit from being in the EU.
You believe it as a valid viewpoint without question, therefore forming your opinion on the matter.

"I think this is good because I know people who think this is good."

And again with the "your opinion doesnt count because of reasons!" You believe that I don't also work in an EU funded sector and believe it'd be better off if Britain wasn't in it? You came to that conclusion astonishingly quickly. You believe what you want to believe, and i'll do the same, whilst also questioning opposing views when I see them.

Listen I'm not claiming to be the expert here or that I had a solid insightful argument(most of it bores me and I think most people don't know what they are talking about to boot)... as far as opinions go someone who works in a sector well informed on what is best for them(in fact they are also a Union Rep I believe) >>> some armchair expert who spent 10 mins googling and fancies themselves a financial and current affairs expert. Arguments given like oh it will be fine... in fact they will have even more funding because "reasons" ;) were why I mentioned said person(it wasn't some petty ploy to save face).

Again with the assumptions. You know nothing about me or how I have formed my opinions on the subject, who i've spoken to or whose opinions I value as credible on the subject.

The EU do not make, produce, fix, or contribute to earn one single penny, they have no money of their own to fund ANYTHING.

We give x amount of money and get back x minus nine billion quid, and even the "Get back" is not on things we want or need, but on what some un-elected bureaucrat decides to fund, how the f*ck does that make sense to anybody ?.

because an unelected bureaucrat trumps Gideon handing out left right and centre to his mates?

I added something in an edit they are also a Union Rep so if you do work in a sector like that and you are strongly voting out then you are in the minority sorry.
