I suppose that if City wanted Wrap Screens - there would be objections from local residents complaining about "Bright Lights" -
I have never been down to the Olympic Park in London but I would guess there is no residential properties near by
If Worsleyweb is reading this - is this our highest attendance at the Etihad Stadium Att:54,557
Barclays Premier League - ? - against the Rags....
seems to beat Bournemouth 54,502............which many fans said at the time - many empty seats - no way 54,502.....
Just interested.
Good point. Never looked st it like that.A shit gimmick that brings in several million a year in advertising revenue.
Probably better than what's going on on the pitch at the moment! Thanks for the info.

No, that's shit freekicks, not shit gimmicks. We also are doing a fine line of shit corners, shit throw ins and shit substitutions. In fact we've got all shit covered. :-)Probably better than what's going on on the pitch at the moment!
:-(
That was kind of my point. The all singing, all dancing signs will offer more entertainment than what's being dished up on the green sward at the moment! No, that's shit freekicks, not shit gimmicks. I don't know the answer to your question but I do know that the attendance figure is never how many people walked through the turnstiles that day. It will be more like how many tickets were sold, although there will probably still be more stipulations after that.If Worsleyweb is reading this - is this our highest attendance at the Etihad Stadium Att:54,557

I am writing this having done not one second research so if I am correct I have mental health issues. I think we got 54,639 v Sunderland.

I phoned up a month ago... There bringing it to market in a wierd way. Wanted 250k upfront for a 20 year lease or something like that.Who owned/ran the old social club at Maine Road ? Because I see the old bank building on the edge of the Campus on Aston new road is up for sale, I was thinking this could be a new social club (maybe a bit small) , so could the club or supporters club buy and turn it in to a new City social club ?

We used a church social club think it was St Crispin's ?I wish they had built one or two similar places from the off when we moved ... done properly (ie, with good service, sensible prices, decent beers etc) it could have been great. But for reasons known only to the club, they prefer to corral us in outside pens, freezing our nuts (and tits) off, serving piss water, at speeds slower than Rooney's brain works ....
We used the old Social Club every week in the early to late 80's .... not perfect, but a good crack. A missed opportunity ....
