Get to the Etihad for the 2nd leg!

Anyone who isn't excited for the home leg is stupid. If the competition doesn't mean anything to you than we shouldn't be having the likes of Aguero/KDB/Silva/Sterling.... . All these players want to play in the CL. CL is the biggest competition of the year for any club by far. The owners din't make an investment to not be global. Every club in this world would love to be in our place to have a big shot at the Semis and some of us just not giving a shit is disgraceful. The likes of Pogba/Messi or potential players take a note of these games not Bournemouth away (no disrespect).

Every top player in the world looks at the CL and if some of us arn't up for it then the club shouldn't bother signing them either. You can't crib about us not having Pogba and then just say fuck it to the CL.

I did not expect us to get a 2-2 at their place and somehow we managed to get it against all odds, that should be incentive enough for everyone to be there and create an atmosphere like no other game.

If you still don't feel bothered by the competition/club/owners then please keep it to yourself, no need to tell others what to do and what not.

You're just missing the whole fucking point

First post praising Roy Keane and virtually every other one after that slagging off the club or the fans. So transparent.
Don't understand what you are saying here fella, your wording is a bit confusing, could you clarify what you mean? (I'm not taking the mick, i seriously don't get it ).

I remember the Hamburg fans after the game saying it was like I wall of noise that just engulfed them, they were really impressed & that from German fans is really impressive

Yeah it was epic. Everyone was well up for it - it backed up trying to get into the ground because everyone turned up as usual with 5mins before k/o and turnstiles couldn't cope! Awesome game that, we need to mimic that atmosphere as it really drove us on in that game. Even with a man short we looked like we could do it.

Ticket prices aside, if you can't be arsed to get to this game you might as well never bother.

This is the most important game bar QPR since our takeover. Not the time to throw your dummy out, we want the XI out there to see a full house not 10K seats empty after a great 2-2 draw at Paris against all odds. Imagine how the likes of Aguero would feel about that. Don't come around asking the club to get big money signings or extend contract of the likes of Aguero with empty seats at such a big game.

The club have frozen the ST prices for next season atleast thats a move in the right direction.

Excellent post.

Thanks for explaining it right there

Have you not read what I and others have already said re pricing, revenue gained by reaching the quarters, potential revenue for reaching the semis, rewarding supporters etc etc
We are the 12th man, that extra couple of percent, yet the club would rather take an extra million off the supporters and piss an awful lot of us off, when they should be encouraging us to attend as we are that element that could make the difference in getting the boys over the line to the semi where the reward for the club is even more millions gained in prize money and all that extra exposure for "the brand"

i cant understand why we still have a feud with UEFA, have all the vermin not gone from that place now ? they have someone new in charge and hopefully things might change.

But would be awesome if the atmosphere was similar to the Hamburg game, that was an incredible night.

Complete and utter bollox...!

In your opinion.

Unless it can be proven otherwise which it can't then either of us could be right or wrong. I know that our CL attendances are very different from the league attendances. The number of seats available illustrates that and none of my ST friends who go to league games go to CL games other than me and the lad and one other. That's 3 out of about 11. The People sat around where I sit are all new faces. It's a different crowd from the prem games on the whole. Might have been the same faces at Hamburg although I doubt it. Like I say just opinion.

Been here 3 fucking weeks and picking his battles with all the wrong people too. Had him by the bollocks on a laughable comment the other day only for him to try and claim that he was only joking.
Didn't have me by any bollocks fella! I just have more important things going on in a proper life rather than a sad one stuck on forums all day, I really couldn't be bothered with you. As for 3 weeks, you sound like the old timers at a match who has a disagreement with a younger kid, usual retort is "I've been going 40 years, what would you know?" Like time gives you any more valid an opinion,

I'd estimate that up to 15,000 ST holders don't attend CL games in general just by going off the different faces around me at CL matches. It was the same for the Kiev game and that was in the South Stand singing section. That said, of those different faces very few were tourists and it was more a case of City fans that don't get to too many league games.

In this particular instance, it does chief.

He means, if it acts like a rag, talks like a rag, smells like a rag, it probably is one!
No Rag, frankly I would rather be one of the 17,000 hard core who turned up in Mel Machin's days, which I am, than lots of the moaning, whingers on here. Seems if people aren't knocking the club, whingeing about something or if a poster isn't in agreement with the rest of the masses on here then they must be a Rag. Mysterious!
