What was the atmosphere like v PSG?

Atmosphere was really good in lower south stand. Can't understand why it didn't sound as loud on telly? Probably doesn't pick the sound up well.
 
I was going to be a clever arse & say
Nitrogen 78.084% Oxygen 20.946% Argon 0.934% CO2 0.0397% Neon 0.0018% Helium 0.0005% & Methane 0.0002%

But they are dry atmosphere proportions so water vapor would knock the above down by 0.25% normally or 0.5% in Manc and then there were the Smoke Bomb particulates...

The methane was definitely a lot higher near the commentary box. A distinct whiff of camel and garlic too.

Bullshit, right from the first minute 'come on City' could clearly be heard on the TV. There was the odd lull here and there, one fairly lengthy one early doors second half when there seemed to be a nervous tension but overall it came across as a decent atmosphere on TV.

I sit in the East Stand and I must say, it was quite ominous having the heavy artillery lined up and pointing at my face. I figured it was a new approach to getting the East Stand to sing. Make some noise or we demolish the stand and everybody in it. Revolutionary
 
I sit in ss3 and in reply to that c**t on talksport saying there were empty seats you cant be more wrong. I sit 3 seats to the left of the centre isle, one row behind us of about 6 seats a side due to the curve of the stand and there were lads stood on the back step where there are no seats as they know we stand and try to make a racket every match.

Id love to see his pictures he apparently has

As has been said about 4 or 5 rows at the back of the psg bit empty but if he's ever been before he knows that the away bit

It sounded like it always does on the tele.

I think South Stand L1 sometimes struggles to be heard on the tele when the rest of the ground is involved and noisy like last night. The rest of the ground might not be singing but with all the "go on"s and cheers here and there there can be 10000 dotted around the ground that end up being louder than the vocal area because South Stand L1 less than 10% of the capacity.

It still sounded fine when I watched it back this morning.

thats what the south stand should be like every game, its really gone down hill noise wise the past few years, hopefully this is a sign of things to come .

we was in south in the posh seats and atmos was bumping fp, a lot of it started in south, espec the carroll chant that had a mention in the sun today, haha been to some home matches in my time, but it was simply electric, even papers mentioned it this morning surprisingly. fp banging night and still have no voice
