i`ve nailed my colours to the mast, Vinny being my only concession.

now whats yours

I rarely pick teams, but I understand that whatever team is picked, there will be a reason for it, so I go with it. (after all, as someone has just posted, they are paid £ms to do this stuff)

But for today, I would be thinking along the lines of

Joe
Zab
Ota
Eli
kolo
Jesus Dhino Fab Raheem
Nacho & Wilf

yes it is. well it is in as much you can at least put the best team available out on the day. there have been many errors from the manager but his stubbonness with playing Bony instead of the kid sticks out as does the unbelievable decision to pitch MDM against Rashford in the Derby. the man is an idiot and I for one can't wait for him to leave, he has cost us so many points its untrue. I get his remit is the CL but the league is still our bread and butter and frankly with the investment we have made to this squad top four and a good CL run isn't asking too much imo, i'd say a bear minimum.

Most of the angst that you and others have had is the team selection. In the fear of getting pissed on from many quarters again, we don't know what the best team is on the day as we don't know what has happened the previous weak in training, who is carrying what kind of knock etc. I think the majority just think because if he hasn't picked the team I would have, then it's not the best team.

I get that, but as I say, I don't believe it is that simple, otherwise we could employ any Tom, Dick or Harry to manage us and we would have pissed the league this and last season.

There was a long debate about Kelechi during the season on his playing time and there were split opinions. Some thinking he should be getting more time and others thinking he was being managed correctly, ensuring we didn't expose him to much too soon and burn him out like the Rags have done with some of their prospects.

As fans we all have opinions and often they are different from others. What counts most though is that we are all on the same side, routing for our wonderful team.

are you a man of the cloth

Or Demichelis against a speedy attack

This is key. Loyalty/stubbornness to play MDM against the 3 Utd speed merchants was a disaster in waiting when other options were available eg, Sagna, Dihno. A draw at home in the Derby would have been a great result and virtually secured us fourth spot. It could well come back to haunt us.

Two key games today.

Atletico, Real and Bayern are through to the champions league for next season now so can select what ever team the choose weakened or not for their remaining league games

Um, have you seen the league table in Spain? I don't think Real or Atletico are going to be playing weakened sides.

i`ve not only lost faith in manuel who i didnt want in the first place, but cant believe some of our supporters wanting to risk tossing off the 4th place in the forlorn hope of beating real madrid and then either bayern or atletico in the final.

the point i`m trying to make is they are both safe in the knowledge they will at least be in the competition next year we arent. one point splits the 3 at the top but they are 23 point from the 4th place club guaranteeing them both a place
