Is it ever acceptable to boo players?

Never ever have I booed a player wearing a City shirt , it's just not done, I am there to try and help the team not hinder it, let's be honest we have had some very poor players over the years that may of deserved booing but I couldn't bring myself to do so, just my opinion, others have there's, which are wrong of course.

It's time to shove a muffin down yer gullet, IAB!

Maybe booing a player will spur him/her on to prove the fans wrong. Then again they might just be a soft bugger who can't take criticism and go crying off in a corner. It's tough at the top and they get paid handsomely.

Booing is for children. If you are over 16, the correct way to abuse players, is with 4 letter rants and
plenty of references to his parentage and the occupation of his mother ;-)

Ian Bowyer was the worst treatment of a player I have ever seen at City over a sustained period of time. His name was even booed before kick off when he was mentioned as a sub.
