If Hart had made some of the cock ups De Gea has made this season he'd have already been hounded out of the club by some morons here.

With De Gea though they are totally ignored and every save, even those struck straight at him, lauded to the hills. If he'd have made that last minute Hart save today Twitter would've exploded. Not with Hart though. With Hart, his brilliance is ignored and people try and find holes where there aren't any. It's very very odd.
There was very little questioning of De Gea yesterday for the palace goal where he left a gap the size of Clattenburgs wedge from baconface at the front post

He did the same (even worse actually) for Coutinho's goal in the Europa league at Old Trafford. Just imagine if it was Hart!

And yet Hart this season dropped one bollock at home to Norwich....and hasn't really been responsible for another goal. Except obviously for the goals certain posters would blame him for but wouldn't in a million years blame other keepers in the same circumstance. Except those ones.

How many times did Stones give Joe a back pass tonight ? - 5 at least - 2 he screwed out of play. Wasn't impressed by Stones.

I'll stick with Hart, if the rest of our players had done as well as he did this season we'd have won the league.

Hart's primary job is to makes saves. He's one of the best at that aspect. He still needs to work on elements of his game and there has been no improvement on certain areas over the last couple of years. He had no business coming that wide for the ball against Turkey and he was then out of position and it was easy for Turkey to score. He's done it a few times where he comes out for balls that he just needs to leave and allow the defender to do his job and remain in position to make a save.

His distribution is quite appalling. He'll need to work on that big time or Pep will get rid of him. Positively he can generally play a pass to feet quite well and that's what his job will largely be under Pep. It's the long passing where he struggles, he kicks one straight off the pitch at least once a game and his general distribution is his weak point. I'm sure Pep will coach improvement into him though and he has the attitude to develop that side of his game.

How much do you think it would cost us to get a keeper of the same quality in his 20s. Then think about how much it would cost us to get a home-grown keeper of the same quality in his 20s.

Remember, 40 million isn't what it was even last year. Every team in the league now has money to throw around. So prices are likely to be vastly inflated. Personally, I wouldn't sell. There aren't that many keepers better than him around the world. Of those, few if any are buyable. City doesn't have the time to wait on developing a young guy that could become better but isn't as of now.
