Why would the club get in contact with Ric to tell him something big is about to happen and make sure you censor any threads that allude to it?

What kind of nonsense is that?

It's more than likely just a result of the ever growing draconian moderating since a few new fellas were appointed to the post not that long ago.

I think the logic is that a deal may be in process, and the complexity/sensitivity of it could be compromised by outside parties becoming aware of it.

Heard that several times on here over a period of months and even CityWatch tweeted a list of FIFA registered deals with agents which included Aguero's name - ie a contract extension.
