The New Top Gear, Yes or No.

I know a lot of Aussies (men & women) who watched TG, because they loved the humour, the 3 of them had a chemistry between then then built up over the years, on their own not so funny but together as a team ,very funny.

Evans is not and never will be funny, he's a noisy soft twat who appears to love himself.

The BBC shouldve suspended JC without pay but not sack him like they did, how can you just bin your most successful show worldwide?
 
It's a yes from me. I love cars, don't care who presents it really. Matt LeBlanc is pretty cool and knows his cars anyway so it's not like some know nowt knob head has taken over. Plus Jenson and Eddie are on tonight so big pluses again
 
It just lacks that certain spark, and you can tell they're really trying. It's by no means the disaster of last week so far but it still doesn't have any cameraderie between the hosts, there's seems no real interest in the subject topic, the fakey humour is far too obvious and Evans is still wholly unlikeable.

Don't forget the others had 13 years to build that camaraderie.
 
Could only put up with it for 5 mins , it a piss poor parody of a once great show . Wont bother again , ginger & dull american are annoying bore's

That cameraderie was golden after the second series, which was the first with Clarkson, Hammond and May. Evans and LeBlanc simply do not get on well with each other and it's plain to see. I've heard some crap about how "oh well if you watch the first episodes of the series back in 2003 they were just as bad" and they weren't, not in the slightest. Watching them back you can see how the show had potential to become what it did. This one, nothing. This new Top Gear lineup had to be great from the off as viewers aren't going to be patient enough to wait another two series for the presenters to develop a rapport. Its simply too dull to endure.
 
The missus has asked me what's wrong. New series of my favourite ever show and I'm sitting in the garden with a beer and a book. Can't be arsed to watch it. Recorded it obviously but I'll dip into it during the week.

Only watched the last half but i enjoyed it.Joey is still stiff as a board but i'm sure he'll relax into the role.
 
It was half decent until the turn of the century, then it became an old man chat show with shit jokes for people who think the sports jacket and levis look is cool.
 
Too be fair not much wrong with that,sort the studio sound out and turn Evans down a bit and it was OK.
Pretty much the same as old top gear ,watching that you wander how much was down to clarkson and co and how much was script written for them ?
It maybe clarkson and co will get shown up when they try something new ?

What happened to the fat **** that was replaced by May? Was there a story behind it?

Nothing to do with him punching someone, wrong as it was. After all, it turns out the BBC did allow someone senior get away with physical assault previously, leave alone let a lot of people go scot free for colluding with mass scale sexual assault.

It was always about the trio being too politically incorrect, too open and going against the "accepted" rulebook.
