Honestly, if the nightmare scenario happened and we voted out, THE most worrying thing for me would that the Tory party would be in such complete and utter, unelectable disarray, that the public might actually do the almost unthinkable and vote in Corbyn. He'd nationalize god knows what, spend like no tomorrow, increase taxes to the hilt, wreck our credit rating with his profligate spending, push up interest rates, plunge us even further into recession (we'd be in recession already after the Brexit vote). It would be like going back to the 70's only worse. I'd genuinely and absolutely seriously sell our home and emigrate if this nightmare came to pass.

I admit..McDonnell would have been the better choice..and I'm still not sure if Jeremy can lead us into number 10..but I'm saddened by the split in the Labour Party..he deserves a fair crack at the whip

For me, Burnham's about the best in front of camera, but still leaves a lot to be desired. It's so sad that all this 'in front of camera' matters so much, but I firmly believe it does. I attribute 90% of Farage's success down to it - the other 10% is either public gullibility or he's wearing very lucky underpants.

And - although the referendum isn't a party politics issue, it's largely been the Tory and UKiP show, with a cameo appearance from Ed Balls. You'd almost be forgiven for thinking Labour was in hiding hoping to avoid any fallout.

Yes, I'd agree with all this. The show has been all about Dave, Bozza, and now Nige, who's finally being allowed to get stuck in, and fair enough,
as it's his train set, he kick started it all. Your point about the Labour party hiding may not do them any harm at the end of the day, they can start crowing how great/shit
it all is whatever the result.

Loads of Dutch in the central Algarve where I'm based and they generally range from contempt to hate for the eu for what it's done to Holland - mainly immigration on this one though

It does put a smile on my face how all these migrants in the Algarve hate the EU. There is a comedy sketch in there somewhere!

And in a sense it is academic because Cameron did not weaken employer rights in his negotiations. Hence, why the Trade Unions recently reinforced their support for the EU.

Also, the EU formalises a role for Unions in its legislative process. Many laws can be made faster through agreement of the Social Lartners that includes the Trade Uinions and representatives of Procate and Public Sector employers.

Osborne has just been ripped to pieces by Andrew Neil on the BBC and i do mean ripped to pieces with Cameron and his utter lies and 180's shown up for what they are.

Hilarious to see Cameron in November 2015, thats right, November 2015 telling business leaders it was a complete fallacy that the UK would suffer if we left the EU.

I watched the Andrew Neil video and thought Osborne held his own. Neil alway follows the same tactic of asking for obscure information that at first glance feels like the interviewee should be able to answer - then constantly repeats the question. Not really in the public interest IMHO.

I didn't see the Cameron footage and yes it's embarrassing for him if that's what he said. However, he was trying to get concessions from the EU at the time so couldn't exactly say that we are beholdent to the rest of the EU!!
