Geronimo Rulli

What are these links with the investment firm how did they come about how do they suit us who is the firm I would have thought its something CFG could be doing themselves very confused

Transfermarket.com had him down as owned by the club last time I checked

Is this anything to do with Peps brother agent and football investor and the spanish club

The impression I got was that the group who control Deportivo Maldonado do business with Abu Dhabi (or vice versa) and so Mansour/Khaldoon themselves pulled a few strings - not in the sense of "we'll throw a business deal your way", just "you know we're good for our word, we work well together and we're always there if your club want to ask us for anything".

Can't blame him. Second choice keeper is no place for a 23 year old on the way up. He needs to be playing. I think were better off going for the other end of the age range as any young keeper is just going to be wasted on our bench. I'd go for a mid 30's keeper who has done it all and is happy to sit out most of the season. We also need to get one of the EDS keepers out on loan at a decent standard. Having a proven club trained keeper would be a massive bonus.

Angus Gunn is going on loan,i forget where

I have a feeling Pep will give Hart a chance this season to keep some continuity in the team and sign Rulli next year. I think it'll take 3 transfer windows (Summer/Jan/Summer) before we see the team Guardiola wants take the field. By the start of the 2017/18 season it will be Pep's team and we will be unrecognisable from the inconsistent side we've been for the last 2 years.

According to express (sorry, but yes) he is on his way here. I did end up trying to find if Sociedad had bought him a few days back and realized they hadn't and that seemed weird. This might be on?

Other than the Express,i cant see this being reported anywhere?

Also, was he not out of contract as of 1st July?

Nothing on the sociedad site about a permanent signing but he is still listed in their squad list.

Be interesting to see what happens, be very keen to sign Rulli, very talented keeper.
