I notice Neuer all the time and he is the best in the world right now. I think people vision too much of what should be a typical Pep goalkeeper. You can obviously name 2 or 3 goallies that are better all round and available? I'm struggling.
I don't want a big star name just a steady Eddie we can rely on would do me there are plenty of those about.

Plenty as in??? Sorry but imho Hart is a steady enough goalkeeper with a few aspects in his game to improve. As most do at the top because that's where I think Hart is. Smiling or not, the man had brought us many more points than he cost us. The fact City and Pep agreed to keep the current goalkeeping coach says Hart will be number 1 at City and that's totally fine with me.

If I were Pep and clearly I'm not I'd be thinking long and hard about replacing my keeper.
Think your just looking to start a new thread on the transfer forum. Too many lemmings on here following the media line, do you not see it, plays for city so we'll over criticise and undermine. Joe is strong enough to take it on the chin and will likely save England next game, sterling however is still a kid. I pray to God the academy starts producing England quality players, media will have a difficult decision to make.

Pep wanted to replace him with Ter Stegen, and truth be told it's not hard to see why - all things considered.
I think it is very hard to see why. Joe is a much better keeper than Ter Stegen. It's not often a player's youtube highlights don't impress me when we are rumoured to be signing them but it made me worry that 50% of Ter Stegen's highlights reel was passes out to players five/ten yards outside the box, 25% was some nice longer passes and 25% was bang average saves.

I dont go in for this "Not critisiing our own players" crap, that's backwards thinking to not improve things. Niether do I go in for this "He's shit" brigade who just have a personal dislike axe to grind.

Yesterday he should have saved that.... It isnt a biggie though, he will play for England until he retires from them. Certainly imo I think he should still be playing for City though, he is england number 1 and that is good enough

Crap goalkeeping that from Hart. But it's a mistake, that's all, and show me another player who didn't make a mistake on the pitch today (and Hennessey should've saved the winning goal too, for the record).
Totally agree, a mistake which luckily didn't cost us. Joe has saved us on more than one occasion and, unlike some other players, always gives his best.

I wouldn't worry too much about him with regards to playing for us. I expect him to be a mere spectator for next season.

I don't believe it is bullshit. We'll spend that much time in the opposition half that they'll be plenty of games where he won't be called into action at all.
Perhaps I'm over estimating the impact Pep will have on the team but we know that one of his philosophies is to keep possession and win it back quickly if it's lost.

No I don't him grinning during the match. He has to stay focused 100 % till the end.He is a keeper ffs the last man.
I really really dont think that fact that he grins or smiles or whatever means he isnt focused or will make mistakes. Sounds like you just dont like him no matter what. He's a good keeper imo, has his faults, but city through and through, cares about the club and team and performance. Cant buy that. The fact that he smiles makes me like him even more tbh.
