It sounds like Pogba will go to Madrid. Kroos to city to help fund the deal would be superb.

Real do like to sell the player they can get the most for, weighed up against their value to the team.

Pretty sure that when they sold us Robinho, there wasn't anyone else in that squad at the time they could get £30m+ for and also do without at the same time.
The same goes for Ozil, they didn't have to get rid of him (they never HAVE to sell anyone tbh) but they also didn't miss him.
 
assuming they are interested in Pogba , they won't mind selling kroos and now morata to raise funds

can see them hopefully doing that

This is why I keep saying I don't see the value in getting him. What he is supposed to do here will be done by Ilkay. Unless the argument is that Ilkay wouldn't stay healthy long enough and thus we need 2 metronomic ball passers. Then fine. But other than that Ilkay will be great at it.

Better than Kroos if you ask me.

I think Gundogan is on another level to Kroos personally. But as I say, if Pep wants him then obviously he has a plan for that particular kind of player. Perhaps he wants someone who stays put behind the midfield.

But I'm not convinced Pep does want him, just because he complimented him years ago or because we may have enquired. We enquire about loads of players.
 
I'd offer £70 million for the pair. Worth a cheeky bid as morata would be perfect backup for aguero.
