As it is its going to take 2-4 years to extricate ourselves from the EU. If we wait and the EU implodes it could take us down with it.
If it implodes and falls apart we wouldn't have to negotiate an exit. We'd just have to come to an arrangement with 27 other countries in the same way as if we'd left earlier.

Leave is ahead in most polls. It seems this will come down to turnout. If those who truly believe that leaving is what's best for Britain and come out to vote, we'll leave.

wrong way aroud mate,, low turnout would most likely secure the outers, the inners are relying on a big turnout which brings the younger voters out and the majority of younger ones are inners

I very much doubt Turkey will be joining any time soon.

They've been trying since the 1980's along with 5 other countries.

Did you watch the clip?

Just because you say I very much doubt it will happen it won't, FFS you need to wake the fuck up.

There are more people planning to vote out and there are more people of an age where "out" is the preferred vote since we have an ageing population. Youngsters are more likely to vote in, but there are much more people of an older age who are elegible to vote and they are voting out. If the numbers of people who say they are voting out actually act on the courage of their convictions we'll see an out result. Not by much, but it'll be out.

Oh, will they be the government on Friday?
Oh, will they be the government on Friday?

some of the leaders are in the government and I assume the entire purpose of opposing remain is for them to exert some pressure on the govt from Friday onwards in the event of a win.................. or have they done it for a lark and don't expect a result either way to be binding?

So why wouldn't Cameron say he would veto any effort made to get Turkey to join if he was so confident? He'll only be there for another three years maximum, that sends a very clear message to me.
He won't say he's going to veto it because he's supporting a potential defence deal and doesn't want to scupper it.

No one in the E.U. want's to fully Veto Turkey to never joining the E.U. It just will not be for many, many years, if at all.

They applied to join in 1987.

It's just that they are so far behind in meeting the E.U. criteria to join. The BBC fact check site said of the 35 conditions to meet to join since the 80's they've met one.

Even if they then miraculously met the other 34, all E.U. countries hold a Veto and I can't see Greece saying yes let alone us.

Every last Brexit supporter is spouting nothing but immigration issues and ABSOLUTELY nothing else. Then they have the absolute gall to cry like six year olds.at the suggestion that they are Little Englanders. If you talk constantly and exclusively about immigration and you are prepared to jeopardise your financial situation (and that of others) in order indulge your fear and anger about migrants, then you are a Little Englander and shouldn't be surprised when people call you on it. Are Brexit supporters actually listening to themselves? It is an utter fucking joke.

You are spouting some utter nonsense there. Many people on the Leave side are clearly concerned about more than immigration. Also, concerns over immigration do not make people Little Englanders. Voting to leave does not mean that you are voting for no immigration, anyone that thinks that is under a false illusion: immigration will continue but the rules on how you get to migrate to the UK will change. If we leave the EU, we will continue to welcome immigrants from all over the world, including from across the EU.

I think it's time for Pam to go night-night

All very nice but we won't get the better quality migrants if we are seen as unwelcoming. A Britain with Farage in the Government isn't going to be welcoming to many people with a choice of destinations. Care services who rely on international workers would suffer first!

Why a vote to leave might not be the final answer

neat diagram with a slight flaw - if we vote leave I doubt there will be any appetite to let the UK back in regardless of any vote in a 2nd referendum for about 20 years if you listen to the warnings coming out of the EU in the last couple of days. I can see where the logic is I just think that for a long time at least exit will mean outside the EU

But we won't be exempt from the fall-out. Like when the council in Manchester declared a nuclear free zone. If the Russians had nuked Woodford the blast wouldn't have stopped at the City boundary.

We'll get hit by the fall out whether we are inor out but you can be sure greater demands will be made of us if we are in. And what is absolutely for sure, we must never (in our lifetimes) join the Euro; if that becomes a condition of membership, we have to leave.
