If Hart had made the mess up that De Gea made against Croatia'last night, Hart would have been hunted down by a torch-light illuminated mob, carrying various agricultural implements, and strung up from the nearest tree.
Awful keeping.

Simply goes to show that all keepers are fallible at times. Doesn't make sense to question their talent based on one incident.

It bothers me why most Hart's advocates here think that our defenders (to wit VK, Sagna, Otamendi, Clichy, Zab, Mangala et al) are shit when opponents scored on us.
Considering that our defenders had limited our opponents scoring chances and that our GK of the day had less save percentages than his counterpart. Go figure..and correlate

Stats eh!
Didn't look like that in real time from the stands.
Some great saves and some awful finishing came to our rescue.

I wish all the anti-Hart campaigners would get a grip on reality. He's an excellent 'keeper, one of the best, but his other attributes have to be considered also: his leadership, his professionalism, his ambassadorial qualities. I for one wouldn't swap him for any other 'keeper out there today.

I agree.
But let's be honest here, De Gea has made some right rickets this season as well as being pretty good in a few games as well. There was his questionable keeping against West Ham (2-3) not so long ago for example.

Lehmann wasn't even that good a 'keeper. He was shite for 90% of his time at Arsenal, improved towards the end but also gained a reputation for ripping into his defenders so perhaps they just tried to defend better to keep him quiet!

Hart reminds me of the' Best English Midfielder' of his generation. ....the Ginger Poseur.

He has but I'm afraid we need a keeper with better distribution as he makes the defence nervous.

The best keepers are the ones you don't notice but with Hart I dread it when I see the ball at his feet or coming for a cross.
Is that why our 'nervous' defenders (VK, Sagna, Otamendi et al) are shit?

I answered that question. Indeed, our defence was never nervous under Mancini.
You're clueless. I actually wonder why you bother supporting City actually.

All of us here agree that Hart has certain weaknesses.
Looking thru our blue tinted optics was Joe a 'nervous Nellie' prior to the
start of the match against Wales?
Was he unfairly criticized?

All of us agree that he needs to improve and if that isn't addressed should our stalwart defence continues to 'make' up for his shortcomings? . Would that be fair to our club or to the manager?
Mancini, recognizing that, was not able to get a better replacement because he was fired.

Love your stalwart defence bollocks BP. That would be why Pep wants to get 3 or 4 extra defenders in then? Clueless.

The Dortmund game was the best goalkeeping performance I have ever seen,Joe was absolutley out of this world that night.
