Zabaleta confirms he will stay at City

He's played there for us in the past and wasn't particularly good at it.

I'm a huge fan of Zabaleta but I can't see how he will fit into a Pep team.

Yep. Played a few times there under Hughes and games would pass him by. Not going to be any better now he's 8 years older.

I didn't see Zabaleta in the training video today. Could possibly be getting close to departing.

If Pep decides he stays,he stays.
Should he leave,he'll always remain Mr
Manchester and a club legend.
Serie A might suit him at this stage.
Recently wingers in the league have been
tearing him a new one..Don't want it to
reach a point where fans 'hate' him for
his performances like to a certain extent
with Yaya.

Zabba obviously cares about the club yaya cares about yaya, any true blue would always give zab the respect he's deserves I hope.

There's nothing worse than seeing a player walk around the pitch, I. play Sunday league and cannot help but chase every ball, stay on my fee and play with pride and that's with 12 spectators and having to pay £3 to play. These aspects should be the easiest part of playing football.

He is on that back to training video. It's so nice to see him at City again.

Can't see him leaving. Btw, it's quite funny to read all these comments saying he's not good enough or that he has been bad and/or that he will never be on form again, etc. Ridiculous

Yaya looked fucking miserable. In fact a few of them did.

Fingers crossed Zin that your kid (and no doubt your good self) are buzzing with your info.

If the season started tomorrow, oakie, I'd be buzzing anyway... A few smiles need wiping off faces this year, can't wait to see the transformation ahead

Now if only we can dismiss that little Spanish fraud instead (:

OI! No need for that attitude! Haha!

If he's not ready to hang up his boots we can't ask him to stay, he might have been carrying knocks last season which means he could regain some form for us or he might have lost his pace which is needed in this league at the top of the table. Italy might be better for him until he is ready to retire, it's a shame they have that DP rule in MLS because I'd have loved to see him join up with Vieira in NYC and he'd still be part of the family. Hopefully the club have offered him a role if he wants to come back and be involved in the club when he's finished playing.
