I'd prefer to watch them play a few games for us before deciding whether they are good buys or not. You seem quick to condemn some of these signings without having seen them kick a ball for us.
I have seen them play and the only one im condemning is nolito....think he is average. Hope im wrong and will say if i am (whoch is more than most on here have ever done in the past)

I think we have the same reservation. I don't think Silva was fully fit. He seemed back to his best for Spain. He basically ran the games for Spain, but there are other players had gone down a level. Silva is the go to man. But KDB needs to be that too. If you put him out wide, as we did on occasion he doesn't function as well. For me they both need to be the central cog. If Pep sorts that out he'll have done us a lot of good. We're not getting the most out of them. It will be better next season on the Silva/ KDB front because Silva will be fit, and KDB has 12 months experience but we're still to see whether they can play together.

We definitely do Marvin. Good follow up :). I honestly don't know how Pep plays this. I know where I'd prefer Silva and even Yaya but I won't even type it because it feels blasphemous.

The signing of Gundogan is very good. Intelligent, technical & will link our defence to attack seamlessly. I think he will work very well with Fernandinho.

We do need another centre midfielder though. Kroos would be a fantastic addition. High quality, composure & passing ability. Ok he may not score many goals & not be great defensively but it is a team game. For me the positives outweigh the negatives. Would Real sell if they do not get Pogba? Looks doubtful.

If no Kroos then who? Bayern's Thiago is top quality but not sure if the bond between him & Pep is as strong as it was. PSG Verratti would improve us defensively & keep the ball moving, a wonderful player. He would need to ask for a move & we would have to pay a high fee - worth it though. So who does Pep bring in? Could Aaron Ramsey be the answer? I like the look of A.Garcia from our youth setup, hope he gets the chance but he is not the immediate answer.

Pep loves midfielders. He will not stop at 1 signing.

How he integrates Gundogan, Fernandinho, Yaya, Fernando along with DeBruyne & Silva will be fascinating. Personally think Yaya will go, his legs have gone & there has been too much bad press over the recent past.

Need the Suarez rumours rekindling. I'm still hoping the 'world record bid on the Chairman's table' is for him.

Get him and our worries are over.

lol off course its not oakie but I think its tougher than we thought it was going to be currently? we know we will get players in but will they be the A-list or B-list? @tolmie's hairdoo seems to think the next couple of weeks are going to be big but we heard that we were going all in for pogba etc? that all signings would be sorted by the time the euros started? maybe I`m just gutted that the bonnuci bid was turned down again! lol
I was just being sarkie mate. However I do agree with you that we wont win all our battles in the transfer market but its sure better than it was pre 2008. ;)

I know it's the mirror, but wouldn't surprise me if some of this is true. Txiki needs to hit on his transfers this summer.....and we still have a lot of work to do

Hi mate, no ones really knows how far along we are in current negotiations but as things stand we still trying to sign 1 maybe even 2 CB's, a LB and a attaching midfielder(Sane) and that not including a rumoured strong interest in Kross.....I heard a radio interview not long ago where we confirmed we only half way done, so clearly we still got more work to do.....I think we at least need to get Sane, Stones and Peres done before we can say we greatly improved the squad this summer.
