It is very expensive granted. he's only really had the one full season in the Bundesliga as far as I can see. But looks very very talented and has the strength and pace to terrify defenders. It's hard to justify the fees being paid now, but if you pose it another way............Out of all the signings made by premiership clubs, which excite you? You would have to name him amongst them.

I think John Stones isn't worth the fee right now. But that's not the point. He can be worth well over that amount, and he will be if Pep gets the best out of him.
And besides, transfer fees don't really matter anymore. The club can easily afford £50 million, as can almost any Premier League club if they really want to.

Think he will be a great buy. I have 100 quid that he does with someone on here with money going to charity. Will find it and give it a bump when he signs. Without sounding itk I knew it was on / likely months ago due to some property transactions.
