Could be worse.....Its not as if they paid a development fee for him in 2009 when he signed from Le Havre and then allowed him to leave on a free in 2011.....:-)
 
Good for Pogba. We shouldn't be slagging him off. What's he done wrong? Good for united too IMO. I personally think we should have taken the risk and paid less last year.
 
So many on here don't care about the money when we sign someone, so long as the club are willing and happy to spend it.

But if it softens the blow for some, go for it I suppose.

I think its more the hypocrisy/double standards involved.

He is a young player with the world at his feet and he has gone with the money,he should be in the cl not the europa league,he has taken the wrong path imo

We got Silva, Yaya, Tevez, Balotelli (highly rated at the time) without CL.

I see the angle you're taking. I'm less prideful personally and obviously so is Paul. From his perspective though it's got to feel amazing to have to the employer that basically called you worthless have to publicly admit they were wrong and on top of it make you the most expensive employee in the history of the field. Who can say no to that?!
