Presumably he's not got any links to City and doesn't support the club, so why would he come just for the club?

City fans are unbelievable....haha!!!!!!. We are possibly on the verge of signing the best young talent in world football and somehow a negative has been found which does peeve him off slightly. A few years ago this guy wouldn't have a clue about us. I am amazed and excited that we are now in a position to sign such players.

We are not at that elite level yet where South American players are going to dream about playing for City. Chelsea's pull changed a lot after Mourinho's first spell. I am expecting something similar for us under Pep.

I wonder at what point he's planning on doing that? Seems out of character to me. From what I can tell he's about loyalty and the team winning over personal attention. Maybe it's not a big deal at all but wouldn't announcing it before or telling the media you aren't announcing until after be better for the Brazilian team?
