Hanu Berarilor Casa Soare in the centre Unirii is well known for the best Romanian food, and a lovely place to eat.
Caru Cu Bere should also be first stop for anyone who likes food and drink when in Bucharest, again centrally located.
And run by the same people as the first one, Hanu Berarilor Casa Elena Lupescu is another centrally located place for traditional food, such as mici (which is like a meat sausage type thing, served often with bread and mustard, which tastes like a really good chargrilled burger)
You've also got many differing restaurants Italian, French etc, plus the western stuff like KFC, Mcdonalds, Subway and a Hard Rock cafe (but well north of the city, so probs not an option for people staying centrally)
Mecure or Novotel are decent hotels, so can't really go wrong there mate, enjoy !
Do Steaua produce a match day programme or a newspaper of any form on match days,and do they have a club shop at the national stadiumI've heard Steaua will put the tickets on sale tomorrow at 19:45 pm. The cheapest ones will be around 10 £

I've been able to order one ticket, i've received an email that everything is fine, but in my bank account it apeears at pending transactions. Do u know if it takes some time? or it is an error?
As long as the pubs are open I don't mind...I think Monday is a public holiday .... banks etc may be closed

Do the ever efficient supporter services not realise that some of us have never been to Bucahrest and might need to find out where the ticket collection is in relation to their hotel?
Yet again expected to be at their beck and call when we should be wandering the lovely city. Although we may have to do that just to get our tickets.
