Well said, the others talk romanticist crap, it was almost cringe worthy. Johnson is a man i can admire, a beast of a runner, the best i ever saw as a total disciplined athlete.
Well spoken, articulate and concise. A fine Olympian from an era where i thought it was at it's peak. The world was getting smaller, training techniques were available to all, competition had never been so strong. Did i mention what a fantastic runner he was, totally untouchable with that distinctive straight head all through the run.

Was in the car earlier listening to 5Live, and they brought him on. Christ, they introduced him like it was Michael Johnson. Unfortunately for me, he's now one of those BBC ever present commentators for the Olympics. The BBC have really bad form for sticking with people, it's as if the public are too thick to take to another presenter, so we have to stick with the same dickheads decade after decade - MOTD is a great example, it needs a huge makeover, with a whole new team of presenters.
