We will find in a few days the extent of the knock. Nolito has shown that he can play in the middle and there are other attacking players that can also play that role but hopefully Iheanacho is ready to play as soon as possible.

He clearly doesn't fancy Bony and wants him gone. With Aguero's poor injury record in mind, if Nacho is out for a few months he will have no choice.
I just hope we don't get our pants pulled down or buy a player who isn't up to the required standard.
Are any of the EDS lads ready to step up?
I'd play Nolito in the forward role and drop Sane out wide.

We've got Sane and Nolito who can play there and Jesus coming in Jan... we need to sell some players before we buy any more and maybe wait on what the doctor says about the Kelechi injury first. I think it's great that Kelechi is getting plenty of game time when fit if we buy another quality striker it will hurt his development and he could be a real gem for us providing we let him develop with us.

Sane, Sterling or Nolito can step in, they have technical ability, mobility and work hard. IMO no point wasting cash on second rate options. Hopefully we have learnt our lesson from that Bony purchase

Wilf might have to stay.

He doesnt want Bony because there is no room in the squad. So unless its really bad and hes out for a long time the only way to bring in a striker is to leave Iheanacho out of the squad. With Jesus due in January and Agueros injury record not as poor as you say. No we wont go looking for a new striker.

That's good news I guess, but still worrying... something was definitely very wrong with Kelechi.

Did I hear right? Pep in his interview on BT Sport said he had spoken to the doctor and the pain had eased but still didnt know how serious? Even if it is a calf muscle injury, as we've seen with Kompany, it still could be 4-6weeks....do we need to go shopping? Bony cant be the answer, even in the short term!

no point spending cash just because our second choice might be out for a month. Gabriel Jesus comes in January who can play on the wings and striker as well, need space for him as well.

Did he swallow his tongue?
There is a condition that very temporarily due to pain causes the heart to slow starving the brain of oxygen. It, with any luck passes very quickly. Looked something like that to me. No doubt the medics will review.
