The lad often said last season hat he listened and learned - with Pep as his coach and Kelechi's desire to improve, he will be a great player in a very short time.

I was really impressed by his short cameo yesterday. He possesses a footballing brain along with power . For such a young age, he's light years ahead of so many. He looked so strong in the build up to the 3rd and then the awareness to go around Given and then look up for the wide open Nolito. And that dummy on the 4th. He knew exactly what he was doing. Very impressive and will only improve under Pep. Exciting player.
 
That dummy for the 4 th was fantastic, not seen since the Beast did it. Wonderful.

Maybe a bit early but would he have tried to play that last season & also tried to score the 3rd on his own ? Lets hope its the Pep effect.
 
IIRC we first noticed him in pre season last year when he was definitely playing behind the strikers and looked like a real gem there.
