Pretty sure the Steaua player thought something more serious was happening, credit to him anyway.

Good to hear he's okay.

He did look as though he didn't know his arse from his elbow when he went down, arm outstretched.

Good to see the reaction and concern of the defender.

no point spending cash just because our second choice might be out for a month. Gabriel Jesus comes in January who can play on the wings and striker as well, need space for him as well.

Good point mate....you think it might stop us loaning/selling Bony tho, if he is going to miss time?

Exactly, even if a nothing incident this time, that quick thinking could save a life next time.

Was scared for a moment, thought it was more serious. Kelechi looked like he was suffering from something much more sinister

Massive credit to that Steaua player who came to his aid.

I thought it was like the incident with Paul Lake swallowing his tongue again. Steaua player clearly saw something seriously wrong and medics were with him a while. Hope it's nothing long term.He ran his socks off chasing down and didn't get much service from midfield tonight. Nice layoff to Navas to set up the goal.

Why did they take him straight down the tunnel in the corner? I assumed they were taking him straight to an ambulance!!

So he's not even injured? Maybe it was his tribute to Yaya but it got out of control when the docs came over and he had to roll with it.

No, I could see from EL3 that they just turned left between the ambulances towards the dressing room area, probably the quickest way to the medical room?

Hopefully just a straightforward muscle strain if he was walking ok after.

Have to be honest - I'd forgot he was on the field, until he got injured. Needs better players around him than he had tonight.

He worked his bollocks off pressing their back line, you're right he needed better players around him, in the absence of Dave there was fuck all creativity from the centre and Navas had his usual one good cross for the goal and another 20 that hit the first defender. Kelechi actually provided the best through ball of the night to put Delph in on goal.

Never stopped chasing down and played a huge part in the goal. You're right about the lack of quality around him though. Was feeding off scraps for the most part.

Defo had an issue, eyes rolled body stiffened and tongue was visible, thought he was in dire straights for a mo, when their defender rushed to him I shit it, fair play to the fella for his reaction and hopefully the explanation about passing out through pain on here is what occurred, coz that wasn't normal to me.
