I find some of these posters hard to believe or at least understand. I know gladbach blue is blue and such but i have no tolerance for the downbeat mentality atm. If we can't be chirpy now then we may as well just give up. The chap you quoted i find hard to believe though, if he is not a troll then lord help us all hehe.

So where will we be gathering tomorrow for the happy clapping. Anywhere near the ground would be an excellent place for me.

If you think I have a 'downbeat mentality' atm you have missed a load of relegations, hammerings by the rags and even more recently being beaten in the final by bloody Wigan.

But thanks for acknowledging I am a blue at least, although it is rather easy to spot I am not like 'dug out man'

It would have caused me great problems about still going. For all I detest everything about that man, my love for City comes first and foremost.
He wouldn't have lasted long anyway, certainly not the life time I have invested in City.
I can't stand the nasty little shit. And his dealing with 'Swinetiger' amongst other things is utterly disgraceful imo.

If he does go to Sunderland, he will be far more busy, so we will see how good he actually is..

Like when he was at Birmingham? Or like his games for us against Tottenham, Dortmund or Barcelona?

He is a very good goalkeeper who will shine when he has a lot to do. Unfortunately, we don't usually get dominated by teams and Hart isn't quick enough off his line and lacks the composure on the ball to be able to command not just the 18 yard box but the 50 yard space behind the defence which Pep wants. He doesn't suit this system, simple as.

Tell him he is not in the plans at all was the correct answer and a misjudgement on the clubs behalf
And put every club in the world on notice that City didn't have a front line goalie on the books and were in the market for a new one? You'd have been one of the first to tell us how shit a DoF Txixi was when he'd just signed a new goalie for £40 mill because some club had just held us to ransom and dry bummed us just because we had told Joe straight out that he was out the door.

So we shaft joe instead ?

Ah but he is a 'tough new boss' apparently a virtue for some.

I was sad that the 'Dr Eva' matter was settled out of court as the dirty washing did not get properly aired but I think that United might well have put pressure on him to settle and avoid the publicity.

After 10 yrs he deserved better, now by not telling him to start with we have a bad for everyone situation that no-one wants

Karen I know you love joe but

Did you watch the euros?

Did you see him against arsenal in the pre season friendly?

If we were sentimental about legends we would still have dunne in defence and goater upfront.

Sounds like Jordan Pickford has just dropped a bollock for Sunderland. Surely this must be Joe's most likely destination...?

Karen, how the fuck is he shafted. We have a very generous contract with Joe for the next 3 years. The contract obliges City to pay X amount per year for his services. His services don't necessarily mean that he plays every week or that he plays at all. As long as City pay him every week there isn't a complaint in the world Joe can have against the club. MCFC isn't run exclusively for the best interests of Joe Hart or any other player that happens to be flavour of the month. I'll ask you again, how is he shafted?

You seriously think letting him go 2 months ago would have impacted on us getting a new goalie? we are in a situation of the clubs making now,you are right no-one is bigger than pep but that is not the point i am making

Of course it would have put us in a worse situation. We would have had no negotiation power when signing a new keeper as clubs would have smelt the desperation.

Nobody wants it but it was inevitable given the decision to replace him. A decision which the club have the right to make. The club has correctly been put first. Txiki and Pep have had nothing other than positive comments on him referring to him as a legend and saying they'll do their best to help him in his next step. Apparently going as far as to pay the majority of his wages for the new club. Given the post match interview, Joe understands but will also be frustrated.

I'd have loved it if he carried on and retired here but people who know better than you or I have made the decision that we need a new goalkeeper to play a new system. As said, the club has been put first and that is the way it should be. The reasons for not telling him flat out that he's not wanted have been highlighted. I completely understand fan'a frustrations but it's a difficult situation which I believe all parties are handling as well as possible.

For the last time i am not saying keep him,i am saying it has been handled all wrong and i will always defend the fact he deserved better after 10 yrs, last season he saved us many times, only him,kev and sergio could say they put in the effort
